Coup: a sudden, violent, and illegal seizure of power from a government.

Government: the governing body of a nation, state, or community

Government =/= village


Furthermore, the word "coup" was never used by the uchiha, only by Danzo and the elders. In fact from what Itachi told them.. it was going to be a "revolution".

Revolutions occur when a certain group is not treated fairly, and not met with their demands. The coup was only a result of Danzo setting them up.

Danzo did nothing wrong. It where the Uchiha's that plotted to destroy Konoha. There destruction was their own fault, Itachi and Shisui made that perfectly clear.
It was even stated how Hirizuen tried numerous peace talks with them. They where to stubborn and had to be destroyed.

Itachi = took back his actions, said he would've done it differently.

Shisui = tried to use KA on Danzo so he won't kill his clan. =].

^^^ Shisui and Itachi simply knew that Danzo and his *****es would kill the uchiha clan either way.

Furthermore, they weren't the ones who were getting insults thrown at them, during patrol. They weren't the ones who were told to sit back and just watch the 9-tails attack the village. They didn't experience it like Fugaku. Hence why Itachi never understood his father.

You basically blamed the entire Uchiha massacre on Danzo, implied that he revealed Kushina's location to Obito, implied that him not being present during the nine-tails attack is suspicious (when it's not), acted like it was poor judgment on Danzo's part to not allow the Uchihas to fight the beast (when he had good reason to not let the Uchiha clan control the beast, not to mention Hiruzen approved of this decision), implied Danzo wanted sharingan implanted in his arm before the Uchiha Massacre was even thought of, and said Danzo did everything he did so he could become hokage and was just a power-hungry dictator

Well you just have described Danzo perfectly my friend . Or do you believe he was "Konoha's protector who had to do what he had to do?" Lmao . You seem to think putting reality of the situation regarding a villain, or someone who had been an enemy of konoha = hate. I guess you are hating on me... since you are disagreeing with me right?

Again , don't use the word "hate" lightly. I don't need to waste my time on "hating" fictional characters. The thread was to justify the innocence of the Uchiha.

Wonderfully organized, but yes, it is pretty much Danzo's fault.

He set up the massacre, orchestrated the behind the scenes, and was overall just a nasty and power-hungry person. Evil always tries to justify evil actions. Danzo fits this statement perfectly.

If Hiruzen was given time, there would have been a diplomatic solution. Also, had Shisui not been attacked by Danzo, he would have made for a great leader to possibly avoid a violent solution to the Uchiha's situation.

Danzo was never the head of the military. Hokage is the top head of the military. All the ninja in the village are supposed to answer to Hiruzen, however, Hiruzen made Danzo an exception.

But Danzo wasn't a villain or an enemy of Konoha - as much as he was portrayed as a "bad guy". He's done bad things for good reasons, and many people dislike him since he did Konoha's dirty work, and these people ignore that what he did was out of necessity and don't realize that he truly loved his village. Now, Danzo didn't give a f*ck about other nations - I'll acknowledge that. He would have killed each and every kage at the summit if he thought it necessary and felt no remorse. He did love Konoha though, and would do anything necessary to ensure Konoha was the strongest village.

Also I'm going to ignore any filler evidence you use since it's irrelevant. Yes, I read what you said about not caring whether it was canon or filler; well I simply don't give a shit about fillers and you can't use them to support a canon claim (I'm talking about your claim that Danzo was the one who plotted against the Uchiha clan.) If you say Danzo plotted against the Uchiha in the anime and not the manga, then I quite agree with you. Remember this is Naruto Discussion: "Here general chit-chat can be done about the Naruto manga." Keep filler episodes out of it.

So before I begin a discussion explaining what was wrong with your claims, you should agree that you won't use filler evidence. If you don't agree, I'll point out why your claims are wrong anyway, and simply ignore anything you said which was only filler.
