Nope. Power can mean anything. Hagoromo explicitly mentioned that Ashura awakened the bodily power through training and which rivaled his brother Indra's. Now if Hagoromo gave him power on top of it then most definitely Ashura would be much stronger than Indra which is not the case.

...Actually its the opposite. I explained in detail what Hagoromo meant by power in Ashura and Indra's case with proof but you're too salty to accept the obvious.

So let me explain it one last time.
1. Hagoromo clearly said Ashura awakened bodily chakra on his own that rivaled Indra's power. Meaning Ashura already equaled indra in terms of power. Now if Hagoromo gave his chakra as well to Ashura then that would make Ashura much stronger than Indra which is not the case.
2. Next panel I provided clearly mentions what exactly Hagoromo entrusted Ashura with and that's his ninshu. The scan you posted mentions only power which could be anything from chakra to authority. However Hagoromo's detailed explanation on Ashura and Indra do not mention any transfer of chakra.

So learn to interpret the manga properly first.

Indra had a draw with Asura despite Asura having access to Six Path's Senjutsu and Indra only had the Mangekyo. Hagoromo emphasized the fact that he only gave Asura his power and not Indra.

Hashirama's Wood-Style was the only thing that overcame the Uchiha, I'm pretty sure other Senju's were fodder in the face of the Sharingan besides Tobirama.

no where was it ever stated in the manga that hagoromo gave ashura power...also I'm pretty sure tobirama soloed izuna who was considered madara's equal with mangekyo sharingan

Uzumaki clan was feared by many many clans and was needed to be destroyed via plot so they wouldn't wreck the Uchiha villains in the future.

Their vast OP sealing techs must've been a horrid nightmare for others.

From my understanding, only the Uchiha and Senju were known as the dominating clans. And if all the Uchiha and Uzumaki is revived then the Uchiha solo and would neg them with no diff.

Hagoromo stated before Ashura was born with no talent, but with enough hard work and cooperation, his powers bloomed to rival that of Indra.

Then in the chapter I presented proof Hagoromo stated giving power only to Ashura resulted in their fight. Hagoromo gave Naruto and Sasuke powers yet same thing happened.

Ashura with hagoromo power up = Indra without Hagoromo power up at all.

Naruto with Hagoromo power = Sasuke with Hagoromo power.

The Uchiha and Senju like the rest of the Ninja world were afraid of the Uzumaki who could Seal away the Sharigan and the chakra to use it. The Uzumaki acted to mediate the negotiation between the Senju and Uchia to form their village sines the Uzumaki already had their village and money to finance the endeavor.
