The entire story is based off the butt-hurt Uchiha an their power.. There's only a few panel of the Uzumaki clan an not many of significance to match them up correctly..

Uchiha wank is all throughout the series so how is putting any clan against them that isn't Senju a bout..

Kishi failed at making a wide spread ninja world to where he introduced more clans & abilities. He created the NV an only stayed in one corner of his verse. (Konoha Uchiha sector is all he gave us)

If anything, Hashirama beating Madara had more to do with Hashirama's own unique powers rather than Asura's influence.

Obito pretty much plowed Kushina behind Minato's back.

Shisui was a monster and was eliminated from the story because he's just too OP.

Sasuke whooped Naruto's whiskered behind at the VOTE, and it took two power-ups from the Nine-tails for Naruto to catch up to the Sharingan's power. The second fight was a win for Naruto I'll admit.

Don't even get me started on Indra himself, if he was able to draw with Asura with simply the Mangekyo Sharingan then that says something about Asura himself.

But in all seriousness, the Senju was only considered the strongest clan once Hashirama was able to use the Wood-Style. Before that, I'm pretty sure the Uchiha and Senju were even.

Obito killed Kushina.

Sasuke beat Naruto in the first battle.

Indra had a draw with Asura despite Asura having access to Six Path's Senjutsu and Indra only had the Mangekyo. Hagoromo emphasized the fact that he only gave Asura his power and not Indra.

Hashirama's Wood-Style was the only thing that overcame the Uchiha, I'm pretty sure other Senju's were fodder in the face of the Sharingan besides Tobirama.
