This is just my opinion on the clans and why I think that the sharingan is a stronger dojutsu but the hyuuga are a stronger clan.
First I would like to say feel free to flame. I have no problem with getting flamed for my opinions.
Now I will start with Hyuuga vs Uchiha. And I'm not talking about the madara time period. More around the Uchiha massacre time period. And remember keep in mind not many uchiha possessed ms. So its rare to see more than 2 ms users per generation. In a vs match clan vs clan I believe the hyuuga are more powerful. Why?
Because the thing that gave the Uchiha the upper hand on most clans was obviously the sharingan. Being about to use powerful genjutsus and at the same time being able to use the opponents jutsu against them. And I'm not talking about ms. Just regular Sharingan.
To be honest Sharingan is close to useless against kg clans because their Justus cants be copied. Which leaves Uchihas with genjutsu, there own individual Justus, and being able to predict movements.
Against the hyuuga clan. Genjutsus are useless. The gentle fist style can't be copied and that leaves Uchihas with predicting movements and their own individual jutsu because genjutsus are also useless against the rinnegan. This basically turns their clan into nothing special while hyuuga still will be able to use all their dojutsu techs effectively.
Now which is the better dojutsu. This is the way I see it.
Ems ms byakugan regular sharingan.
And of course rinnegan above all.
So basically without many ms users the Uchiha would not be capable of defeating hyuuga clan. Not to mentions every hyuuga gets the byakugan and not all Uchihas get the sharingan.
