Uchiha 8th Gate Izanagi

What if an Uchiha who could open all 8 gates were able to cast Izanagi on themselves to stop the damage the 8 gates would do, then cast Izanagi with the other eye to stop that eye from going blind, then use Izanagi again with the first eye on the second in a continuous cycle so the user could still see, and use the 8th gate without dying......

Obviously this would put incredible stress on the eyes and they would probably explode or something after a short time, but the user would still have a chance of surviving the 8th gate, and it would be awesome as shit!

What do you guys think?

I know the part about using Izanagi to cancel Izanagi is farfetched, but why not?

Izanagi makes the physical an illusion in the users personal space, such as damaged sustained.
Izanagi takes place, then the eye goes blind.
One could time the Izanagi of the second eye to make the physical damage causing the blindness to become an illusion, then rinse and repeat with both eyes until they explode due to the strain!

Another thing ive thought about is that maybe Izanagi could be used to ignore chakra consumption.
Nobody ever uses a jutsu that uses literally all of their chakra, with Izanagi you could cast an icredibly powerful jutsu without dying similar to my 8th gate theory.
The caster could sacrifice an eye to effectively double their chakra.

I doubt the whole part about using Izanagi for the other eye... But using Izanagi after opening 8 gates sounds legit! Its 100% possible and rather plausible..

Well if this idea is plausable, then it should exist. There would be nothing cooler than Guy sacrificing himself against Madara, revealing that Madara too could open the last gate and survive. Then Naruto, or Sasuke maybe, could have an easier time fighting a weakened Madara and finish him off.

The reason I specifically said an Uchiha is because a non-Uchiha Sharingan user would probably have difficulty using Izanagi as its a secret jutsu.

Technically an Uchiha could do it once (or twice, going fully blind) but they need to master the gates first...

That sounds like an utterly sick combo, but unfortunately, Izanagi consumes chakra, a lot of it. Remember how Danzo turned it off at one point during his fight to conserve his energy for Madara (Obito)?

But if the Uchiha was a Jinchuuriki, chakra wouldn't be an issue.

Of course an Uchiha Jinchuuriki is plenty overpowered enough already.

Ah I didnt think about the chakra cost, but did you read the part where I thought about using Izanagi to ignore chakra useage?
This would mean that the user would go blind, but still be able to survive opening the 8th gate!

I think its a pretty solid theory tbh.

And yeah a Jinchuuriki, Uchiha that could survive the 8th gate sounds like something the Sage of Six Paths would do.
He was the 10 tails host, could obviously open all the gates, and was both Uchiha and Senju........

I think Madara should be able to use this combo too though, it would help make him more of a match for Hashirama
