Well he seems to have a perfect 360 degree view and it counters the drawbacks of Izanami/Izanagi, if you are crazy enough why wouldn't you go for it? Don't really see any drawbacks. Also the full black Mangeyko bothers me a bit, that one doesn't seem like the "real" thing.

Wouldn't totally rule out the possibility that he is a crazed Shisui.
