Basic Information
Name: Typhon Kiganjō | 鬼厳城 剣八
Nickname: Kenpachi | Dragon of the North
Gender: Male
Age: 42
Clan: None
Looks: Simply put, Typhon is a massive human being in all respects. Easily confused for a giant, he stands at a towering seven foot three inches tall and weighs a staggering six hundred and ninety-five pounds. This weight is due to him being both muscular and fat, even adapting his layer of blubber into a technique. As a blood relative to the Raikage he is dark skinned with black hair and a beard. He has his lower lip pierced twice on the sides with short metallic spikes and a patch of deep black hear vertically in the middle of his chest. He wears a white sleeveless haori over a black men's kimono. A large deep red slash is wrapped around his waist which holds a katana-wakazashi pair on his left hip. Another large broadsword is held on his back.
Personality: Typhon's comrades have described him as lazy and piggish, which is a pretty good general description of his personality. He's often eating, drinking, fighting, cursing, sleeping or some combination of those things. He has an explosive anger and isn't slow in escalating arguments to physical violence. This personality fits in well with his activity in organized crime where he has spent the majority of his life. Due to his childhood and life experiences he holds a deep hatred for shinobi and any samurai foolish enough to work with them.

History: Unlike most Samurai the beginning of Typhon's life began within the world of Shinobi. He was born into the same family line as the Raikage's within Kumogakure and is a cousin to the current Raikage, A. While most would view this as a point of pride, it became the greatest cause of strife in Typhon's young life. At the age of six he witnessed his parents death at the hands of the Hachibi. The beast had gone on a rampage tearing through the village. The beast had the young A in his sights and began to bear down on the small child. In a moment Typhon's father and mother sprung into action cutting off one of the Hachibi's tails giving A a moment to escape. The beast turned its sights to Typhon's parents and violently disposed of them, his father's lifeless body skidding to a halt in front of the hidden child. Typhon blamed their deaths on A and the idea of protecting the Raikage's lineage at all costs.
After his parent's death Typhon became secluded and abandoned any form of training to become a shinobi. He refused the shelter of any sort of foster family and began living in the streets of Kumogakure relying on thievery to get by. By the age of nine he had built up a reputation of bad behavior, but he would do something that crossed the line. In a robbery gone wrong he ended up killing a man by driving a sword through his chest. The man was an advisor to the Raikage, and rather than feeling distress Typhon felt vindication. He convinced himself that the man deserved death for even being associated with the Raikage's family and that that association made him partially responsible for his parent's death. Knowing that he would no longer be treated as a young victim of the Hachibi lashing out but rather a murderer, Typhon fled the village.
Over the next several years Typhon traveled between various areas within the shinobi world. Everywhere he went ended in violence and the blame he placed on the Raikage's family for his parents death slowly spread. He began blaming the ninja world and its structure for his parent's demise. He saw the world as hungry for nothing but power, a hunger that led to the ninja villages desire for the tailed beasts. Without that desire to control the demons he convinced himself that his parents would still be alive. Everywhere he went he saw signs of this greed. Seeing that the shinobi world was not fit for him, Typhon departed to the colder recluses of the Land of Iron, a world void of ninja that kept to themselves.
Despite removing himself from the things that triggered thoughts of his past, Typhon found himself in a similar world. The only life style he knew was crime and he quickly found himself within the criminal world. He lived the life of a gangster with endless days and nights of crime, violence and partying. He quickly rose through the ranks of the Seifukukira organization due to his raw physical power, greatly due to his ties to the large bodied Raikage lineage. The endless drinking and eating led to him growing a thick layer of blubber over his large muscular body giving him monstrous size that was unseen in the Land of Iron. This size allowed him to take great punishment, and crush his opponents with raw physical power. Rumors of his strength and his position as the muscle within the organization. He earned the nickname "Dragon of the North" as their gang operated in the northern regions of the Land of Iron.
In the following decades Typhon only grew in size, power and ruthlessness. The Seifukukira had attracted several ex-Samurai army members who taught traditional kenjutsu styles to the rest of the members. From here Typhon learned the customary samurai techniques adding another versatile edge to his abilities. Typhon was truly living the life of a high roller. Drinks, food and girls flowed in endless amounts as no one dared challenge their power. They operated with impunity out in the open becoming almost like a country within their own. It seemed as though nothing could interfere with the good times and that it would go on forever, but as always this road would eventually come to an end.
It was a cold night as usual in the northern reaches of the country. Typhon was drinking heavily in the gang's usual bar. Music filled the air as drinks flowed while Typhon talked obnoxiously loud with his arms draped around four girls, two on each side. As he partied two guests went unnoticed sitting at a corner in the opposite side of the bar. A younger man sat quietly with an older gentleman calmly drinking their sake. A hint of annoyance could be seen on the younger man's face as he sat impatiently observing the situation. "Come on, what are we doing here? This guy's nothing but a loud *******, lets clean this infestation and leave!" The older man leaned back in his seat. "Calm yourself. He does seem crass, but his strength would be an incredible asset to our organization. With a little guidance given his past I believe he can be a powerful weapon for us. Have faith." The younger man leaned back annoyed and waited.
The night began to dwindle down and most of the non-gang affiliated patrons of the bar had departed. Typhon still sat at his table talking to a girl, never taking note of the two strangers observing him. However, one of the other members of the gang had noticed. He went over to the table and drunkenly confronted the two men. "Wat da hell ya doin' here? Doncha know the **** owns this bar?" The two ignored his words causing the man to become infuriated. He drew a dagger and pointed it at the older man, it was a terrible mistake. In a flash the younger man appeared crouched on the table, his demeanor entirely different. The drunken man looked on in shock as his arm from the elbow down slowly disconnected and plopped down on the table. Nobody had even see him draw his blade.
The music immediately came to a halt as the Seifukukira members turned their attention to the hostile visitors. Everyone not affiliated with the gang fled the bar as they all drew their weapons. It became utter chaos. Within moments the walls of the bar had been painted red, one man's body held pinned up on the wall with a katana driven through his chest. Typhon had remained in his seat watching the slaughter with little care. "Tch, buncha' weaklings got no place in this organization. But I can't let ya go and **** up the bar without getting punished." Typhon got up from his seat, his head nearly reaching the already high ceiling. The younger man stood facing him in the center of the room while the older man remained in his seat, unmoved from where he began. A sadistic look was draped on the younger man's face, a blood thirst in his eyes. "Kehehe, the bigger they are, the harder they fall." Typhon didn't respond, instead he ripped the oversized broadsword from his back and brought it crashing down on the much smaller man. The blade crashed into the ground tearing up the floorboards and creating a cloud of dust where the man was standing. "Hmph, arrogant *******. Typhon looked up and turned his attention to the older man.""This is usually when bitches run way. Your muscle man's dead, time for you to go." The older man didn't move. "Ya deaf grandpa?! Get the fu-!" Typhon was interrupted by an unexpected cackle. "Kehaha! You think a slow ass swing like that would kill me? You're even dumber than you look, Dragon of the North!"
-To Be Continued-

Weapons: During his time in the ninja world Typhon accumulated a wide array of weapons including kunai, shuriken, etc. He keeps a katana and wakazashi on his left hip as well as a large over sized broadsword on his back. The broad sword is six feet long from hilt to tip and the blade is eight inches wide.
Even though he was born in Kumogakure, he never received training in ninjutsu and is therefore incapable of using any type of ninjutsu.

Description: The form of thunder and lightning God is a style of the Ogame school which focuses on raw speed to attack the target. In this technique the swordsman will stand sideways and crouch down with their right shoulder tilted down. They will hold their sword with both hands vertically in front of the back shoulder and behind the head. They will then release their strength and throw their body towards the ground, appearing to fall. The hard fall will create speed which is then shot forward by using all of their strength to push off their back foot to create acceleration. This sudden burst of speed catches the opponent off guard as they're not expecting a lazy fall to turn into an extremely fast movement. The swordsman then finishes with and upward slash across the target's torso.

Description: The form of the water dragon is a style of the Ogame school which focuses on bypassing an enemy's guard with a quick alteration of the attack. In this technique the swordsman stands with their left foot forward and knees slightly bent. They hold their sword over their right shoulder with their left forearm horizontal across their chest and their right forearm vertical at their side and their hands gripped on the sword just at their shoulder. The swordsman then steps forward and begins to swing the sword in a straight vertical motion. The obvious defense to this is to meet the sword high as it comes down. But as the swordsman swings down they quickly switch their hand position so the blade deviates to the left before continuing downward, creating an S-shaped attack. The quick movement allows the swordsman to move their blade around the target's defense and hit them.

Description: The form of the water dragon is a style of the Ogame school which focuses on bypassing an enemy's guard with a quick alteration of the attack. With this technique the swordsman begins by holding the sword straight outward towards the target. They will then circle the sword around to their right and back above and behind their head ending with the sword being held horizontally back over the left shoulder so that the blade is completely hidden to the opponent. Then in a quick acceleration they swing the sword vertically downward with only the left hand on the grip. As the sword is moving down they then grab the hand guard with their right hand and push across turning the vertical strike into a horizontal strike while accelerating it even further. The combination of changing the direction of the slash while accelerating it at the same time makes it almost impossible to defend against.

Description: The tiger drill is an Ogame school technique in which the swordsman amplifies the piercing power of their thrust through body movement. They will hold the sword at the very end of the hilt in one hand and step forward while thrusting the tip of the blade forward. As they do this they twist the arm holding the sword while simultaneously twisting their body and back leg in unison, creating incredible piercing power similar to a drill. Description: This "technique" is the result of a high fat diet and years of drinking unhealthy amounts. The person accumulates a large amount of weight through the formation of a thick layer of fat around their body. The thick layer of fat acts as a cushion against incoming blunt attacks, greatly reducing the effectiveness of things such as punches or kicks. It also acts as a buffer between the muscles and organs of the body. For instance a cut that would spill the intestines of a normal sized person would fail to reach the insides of a person using this. It will still hurt and leave a large wound, but won't be life threatening. Being an anhydrous tissue, fat is a poor conductor of electricity. As a result the person is protected from paralytic affects from unfocused lightning techniques. While they're protected from the paralytic effects of the lightning, they in turn become burned in the fatty areas where the lightning meets resistance. They still receive the damage of the attack, just in the form of burns rather than paralysis. Fat is also a very good insulator of heat allowing the person to maintain a relatively stable internal temperature in cold weather, though they may be prone to heat exhaustion. The excess weight also reduces the person's speed and agility by the equivalent of two ranks. They also become susceptible to exhaustion causing them to be limited to two moves every third turn.
-Must be attached to the character's biography.
-Only available to "large" characters (i.e. Akimichi or reasonable Customs).
-Only affects areas where layers of fat accumulate.
-Reduces the character's speed by two ranks.
-Limited to two moves every third turn.

Description: This technique was developed under the idea that a kenjutsu or taijutsu match is determined by how well you can read attacks. This can be done via sensing one's ''presence''. In this case, this ''presence'' refers to the preparatory movements, shifts in the centre of gravity, glances and sounds that go into making an attack. These factors are what cause one's ''presence'' to be given off. By using this technique, once can sense the opponent's ''presence'' in order to read the opponent's attacks, avoid and block them. On the contrary, if you know how erase traces of your own ''presence'', it will be much harder for someone to read your movements and so, your attacks will be much more unpredictable.
With the usage of this technique, the user greatly increases his offence and defence as he can react to even the fastest attacks, such as Iaido(though for iaido up to the users rank) and can make his own attacks much harder to read.
*Usable two times per battle and lasts four turns
*It doesn't make user's attacks stronger. It only makes them faster and unpredictable.

Description: On his travels the First Shogun of the Land of Iron Samurai's faced many shinobi in combat and accumulated a wealth of knowledge over his long life. He met the fire temple monks who he eventually became friends with, they taught him the basics of elemental chakra and through heavy meditation and reaching a state of spiritual zen he learnt to unlock his elemental chakra for a moment which he eventually came to master. Not knowing handseals he still could not use ninjutsu but he could channel the elemental chakra like he normally would with normal chakra [Samurai Sabre Skill]. This allowed him to use elemental taijutsu/kenjutsu (e.g. NB taijutsu).

Background Info.
