Here's a list I've made based on the types of ninjas we saw:
1) the clan ninjas.....ino shika chouji & all those types, who could only do jutsus based on their clan....just direct inheritance genetically.....
2) The pioneers : hashirama,madara, tobirama,& the 3 sanins & Hanzo,3rd raikage,muu
they were the ones who brought the strength & expertise levels very high as compared to the others during their period...
3) the unique- intelligent: Minato,hiruzen, white fang,oruchimaru (after becoming evil),gai,onoki
inspite of being born normal,they had that extra intelligence which not only allowed them to develop their own jutsus, but also were skilled during battles....I'd also put itachi & shisui here because although they were born uchihas, they were talented enough to extract the best from their dojutsu, & were on a very high lvl as compared to other uchihas...
4) the unique-creative: the akatsuki members, kabuto
very much similar to above type, but this type of ninjas werent that successful during battles with equal strength ninjasespecially against someone who was smarter than them)..
5) the freebees: most of the jinchurikis, A, sasuke, nagato
they got free boosts without any hard work
6) Jounins : apart from few desired ones, these jounins looked like fodders against a skilled enemy...but till the chunin exams period, it looked as if the were second to none but the hokage !!
7)Miscellaneous : kimimaro, gaara, naruto,
just too complex to categorise them, skilled, but still....you know that they dont fit anywhere nicely...!!
8) the fodders...no description required.....
*note:being in same type doesnt mean they're equal.
also, I couldnt write all names, so pl keep calm if ur favourite isnt seen, the names of ninjas are just for example, & not the only ones in the list...
