Dbz is not kishi his only inspiration i say .

Not to mention the Obito = Darth Vader (both broken men who had lofty ambition but were manipulated by evil masterminds) and Madara = Palpatine similarities. (This would only get stronger if Madara is betrayed by Obito)
Jiraiya is similiar to Qui Gon in that he thought he was adopting a child of prophecy but ended up creating a villian who redeemed themself in the end( Nagato and Vader respectively)

I think the thing is that there are so many popular themes in Star Wars that you can tie almost anything to characters from it.

Yeah when you talk about themes, that is probably true. Good guys, who become villains, villains, who redeem themselfs in the end, students who betray masters etc.

But the resemblance between Yoda and Fukasaku is a bit to overkill imo .Fukasaku and Yoda, both even talk funny/weird, compared to other people in their world, and on top of this, their physical appearance is near identical.

Haha well the way fukasaku sounds is how old people sound in Japan while Yoda is actually talking different, but yea you might as well say they are talking different haha
