Shikimaru is the smartest shinobi alive in terms of combat planning.

However, hidan can inflict massive pain to anything including a tailed beast. And since no physical attacks can stop him, its pretty easily won.

simply outlasted it. Prob got a scratch while in bijuu form. Judging by the aftermath he had a couple of scrapes she probably hit him he went flying back got up performed the ritual gg. Ability is ideal for bijuu hunting.

Yea well his cockiness was there to nerf him. Either way he was hired for this reason if he cant stand up to a Bijuu why would they waste time inviting him to the group? His ability to tank any attack and OHKO is ideal for akatsuki.
