[Discussion] Two Masked Men

On Itachi's side of the story,when he met the masked man(Tobi who trained him and helped him eliminate the clan) noticed that the masked man on Itachi's story had a different masked,and long hair.

On Kushina's story to Naruto, the masked man we see is the present Tobi.*
My conclusion is that "The masked man"who attacked the village 16 years ago and the masked shinobi who helped itachi massacre the Uchiha Clan are two different Shinobis.
** * * * * * * * * "MASKED MAN & KURAMA's ATTACK ON THE VILLAGE"
Since the attack on the village came first( Obito would have been too young to aquiare skills to step up with the fourth) in my opinion it could have been Fugaku Uchiha.*

I am only taking the story from Itachi's point of view. The masked man he met who
trained and helped him massacre clan had a different masked from the Tobi we see today. In this time line it is possible for Obito to be the masked shinobi Itachi met.

It could be possible that during the massacre, Tobi(Obito) aquiarred Fugaku's masked.The masked Fugaku used while attacking the village.*
This would be a perfect set up for Tobi to claim now that he attacked the village.

Theory of Obito to Kakashi

By the way this is why I think Obito is Tobi

Definitely an Uchiha.He is too masterful of the Sharingan to say that it was just an implant.

-Physical feats

-Time Space Migration Tech- Very similar to Kakashi's Kamui. Since Kakashi got his Sharingan from Obito, they might have similar capabilities.Plus a little hint
** *of him telling Kakashi that the Kamui will not work againts him after Sasuke deafeted Danzo. Did you notice Kakashi's face?? He was really surprise.

-(To Kakashi) "Those that break the rules and regulations are scum. But those who abandon their comrades are worse than scum! If I'm going to be called scum either way, I'D RATHER BREAK THE RULES! AND IF THAT'S NOT BEING A PROPER SHINOBI, THEN I'LL DESTROY THAT IDEA!- type of person that would do anything to prevent lose. (End of violence,end of wars,fighting,etc.) Which Tobi is trying to achieve via INFINITE TSUKOYOMI.

-Mystery of Kakashi's face- None of us has seen Kakashi's face since day one. I'm guessing that Kakashi will reavel his face with Tobi taking off his mask and a big reunion is on the way. I also feel that Kakashi already knows his identity.

Hmm, I don't really understand. The mask he had when Itachi approached him and the mask he had when he attacked the village were the same. As for the hair, that could have simply grew between the time gap (which would have been around 5-8 years)

Lol, that ain't a different mask. That is just a minor inconsistency with the drawing since noone is able to constantly draw the same thing perfectly. The design and colour of the mask is still the same.

Maybe. But some times miss things with these small details. But anyhow, is the theory possible? Who do you think Tobi is? If you dont want to post your opinion on who Tobi in this thread ,do mind sending it in private message? I'm just super curious.

There are the exact same amount of lines on both of the masks. Look at image 1 again, at the top there is another line. It is just being covered be Tobi's hair. You realise everything that is covering the face is his mask right? not just the shaded bit? Look at the very top of the first pic, you see another thick black line which is partially covered by Tobi's hair.

Yeh, it is still a possible theory that the two Tobi's are different. I have thought about it myself.
I think Tobi is a creation (probably made from Zetsu) created by Madara, which contains Madara's thoughts and memories before he died. Since Tobi has alot of information on Madara. They have the same goal (Infinite Tsukuyomi plan). They seem to know each other. Things that Tobi had claimed whilst posing as Madara, have later been revealed to be consistent with the real Madara.
There is loads more. I can go into more detail why I think this but it will take too long to write lol. And yeh Tobi is one of my favorite characters.

Typing down "stopped reading" initially states what you did in a personal level. It is just like going on any of these threads and typing down " im brushing my teeth", "im cooking",im playing with my doll"
