Two Hokages?

I made a thread about who deserves to be hokage Sasuke or Naruto.

There was a couple of suggested that they both could be hokage at the same time like Minato Namikez (The 4th hokage) and Hiruzen (The 3rd hokage). I had seen these comments on other threads also.

So my question is how did Minato became hokage when Hiruzen was still alive? I was thinking it was because Hiruzen had retired and entrusted the future of the village to Minato. But people had said that my answer is stupid (-_-). So how do you think Minato became hokage when Hiruzen was alive? and could Naruto & Sasuke become hokages at the same time?

i think hiruzen just retired, and there's gonna be just one hokage, naruto or sasuke, we just have to wait and see.

Well Sasuke straight up doesn't deserve to be hokage at all. Not by any means or stretch of the imagination. He will have to pull off some real heroic shizz before I would be convinced he should be hokage.

To answer your question, I think the older hokage just retires and becomes more of a mentor, and acts as a figure head as well. But I think the story is going for Naruto to beat out Sasuke for hokage. I think Sasuke will help in his own way, it's much too early to tell what will happen.

No madara was going to be the First Hokage. We do not know that Hashirama and Tobirama were both hokages at the same time (unless you have manga proof)

Sandaime Hokage only retired when Minato became Hokage. There is no way that Sasuke and Naruto can be Hokage at the same time.

Because it's proof of the question that i ask has been asked around a lot. It is different i'm asking how are there two hokages are elected at the same time

Well Tobimaru's appearance hadn't changed from when we saw Kagami Uchiha in his squad and when the hidden leaf was founded so I'm assuming they were. Also didn't Hashi live to a considerably old age? I think Madara was going to become the second Hokage as well but the village/Tobimaru didn't approve. I probably need to re-read the flashback in about manga 625 though.

I believe the third entrusted Minato with 4th position just in case he died, Remember the third was really old. Just like how the second entrusted the 3rd just in case he didn't make it

Appearance doesn't really matter look at Tsunade. (Not her breast either). Madara became evil when he found out that he won't become the 1rst hokage

Tobimaru doesn't seem insecure enough to do what Tsunade does though. If it was after Hashi had died and Tobimaru was only Hokage he would've surely looked different... There was about 4 years maximum between their ages in my opinion.

That was a silly thing saying Minato and Hizuren where hokages at the same time..

Who knows what Kishi has in store for next Kage.. maybe Konohamaru will be hokage. Or Shino.
