Look I acknowledge that. Uzumaki's are in fact descendants of Hagoromo, I'm just saying they were theories that thought Hagoromo was LITERALLY an Uzumaki.

It actually had a shit-ton of backing to it, and a lot of evidence pointing at it too. Back in the day, in the time between the Tobi reveal and Hagoromo's introduction, it was probably the biggest Naruto theory around.

I don't remember em that well but iirc none of it made much sense really. As far as i know they kept going back to the Senju and Uzumaki being related to say Hagoromo was an Uzumaki.

Well, that is pretty much the gist of it, but in the end it had enough going for it that I wouldn't have been surprised if it'd been true. It would honestly make more sense as a way to connect Naruto to the Sage than the whole Indra and Asura deal, but we do get a nice Naruto-Sasuke parallel thing with the latter.

Imo connecting him and his clan to the sage would have been tbh hella cliche i'm glad that it's the opposite even tho he have the sages will or some ish.

Despite the fact the author made it clear that the Uzumaki were descendants of Ashura like the Senju, these fans still wanted Hagormo to end up being the progenitor of Naruto's clan.

There's no doubt in my mind some people still believe this to be the case. I guess ever since Naruto and Hinata got together, these blokes wanna "connect" the dots with Hagoromo's wanker of a bro.

So in conclusion these theories did nothing but try to make Naruto's(Main Character) clan seem even more "special" than it already was. Fact is, they are relatives to the Senju, simply Kishi's way to make the brotherly rival apply to Naruto and Sasuke.

tbh...the first one made sense because Naruto actually represented SOSP philosophy. Asura had Mokuton and SOSP chakra but was never said to be the jinchuriki as SOSP created the biju and set them free. He even told them to wait for someone like himself to be reunited again.

The second theory was never that popular especially after Hamura was shown with Byakugan.

That' s a common mistake, their common ancestor can also be Ashura' s wife or Hagoromo's wife or Kaguya' s husband or Hamura' s wife or Indra' s wife...All those are possibilities given that the only fact we have is that Senju and Uzumaki are distant cousins.

So why are both of you disagreeing with what I said ? In the end of the day Uzumkai DNA comes from Hagoromo's DNA so the theories of Hagoromo being an Uzumaki were true just as much as theories of Hagoromo being an Uchiha. Uchiha, Senju and Uzumaki all share the same genes

It seems you are sure Hagoromo has Uzumaki genes although you have no proofs.
Maybe it is because you can disprove every other hypothesis that fits the facts.

The Sage is the progenitor of Uchiha AND the Uzumaki, so when someone says he's the progenitor of Uzumaki they're not wrong, when someone says he's the progenitor of Uchiha they're not wrong either.

He's the ancestor of the Uzumaki because the manga showed he was. No head-canon can change that. Stop bringing Ashura's wife or Hagoromo's wife as they have not been shown at all.

Ashura is Hagoromo's son, Uzumaki are Ashura's descendants. Simple maths.

I'm not hating and unlike you I know my maths, and I know your simple logic is wrong.
The fact that Senju and Uzumaki are distant blood related doesn' t imply that they are both descendants of Ashura.

Lol hagoromo is indeed not an uzumaki, anyone who do not have a problem with thier eyes can see it's a pink colour tint hair. It's of course a haruno clan lineage, the reason why sakura is so strong and fast without sharingan precog or tailed beast amplication.
