I, uh, may have upset some crazy shippers on the ol'Tumblr and I saw every single Tumble stereotype. I thought it was only like a small thing, not really real, but no. It's real. People like that exist. People misconstrued everything I said and it was insane. I was called homophobic, sexist, and someone, I kid you not, called my a rape culture fanatic! What! Like, if anybody ever knows me even slightly, they know I'm none of those things, especially that last tone (WHERE DID THAT COME FROM), but I was and am just baffled people said that or got that from what I said. I just said that the good majority of fans of some couple are kinda obsessive, crazy, harass the people involved in said couple's show and how that is bad, and how they give fans a bad name. Yeah, I realize that would upset some people, but WOW.

It's really funny, but also really sad that people like that do exist. Shame. This ordeal was my first bad experience with the site and I actually am taking a break from it, maybe permanent because those people are unhealthy to be around. It's that bad lol

I guess the point of this thread is to either laugh at my expense or maybe share your crazy Tumblr interaction or something.

Well, Tumblr is great if you look for fanart and other things.. and yes, there are a lot of strange, crazy people. But it's not only Tumblr, people like this are roaming the entire internet and more than enough of them are here on Narutobase too.

I have heard it is cancerous, I think they were just exaggerating it was just a meme but I have never went there except for indirectly some images on Google search. I have seen some screen shot of tumblr posts telling why tumblr is a cancer on other sites. On many communities if you say you are from tumblr, the immediate replies would be they telling you to kill yourself or **** off.

I try to stay away from that side of Tumblr. It's a good place to share fanarts, photography and other stuff, but it has its bad sides and crowds, like all social media.
It's really not bad once you realize that. x)
