I think he'll be fine. I doubt that people who spend their free time crying over a pairing and threatening people's lives over it have the money to go to the event. Besides, most Tumblr Naruto fans seem to be young children.

He'll also be doing a book signing at a Barnes and Nobles and another book store, I'd be more worried about that since literally anyone in the area will be able to walk in and meet him for the duration of his time there.

I don't think anything will happen, though. His security should be enough and any Naruto "fan" complaining over the internet likely doesn't have the guts to pull anything.

Most people complaining seem like the types that have problems in real life and are taking out their frustration on something fictional like Naruto in an effort to feel better. xD People should let go by October. If a series is that bothersome to them, there's no need to get upset. The vast majority read it for free on MP and MS, no loss monetary-wise so they need to move on if it's so bad for their mental health.
