I remember that day
sea became rough
that made many people cry
feelings that's tough
to deal with
losing loved ones
parents , siblings , lovers and kids
many others we never knew even names

It's been 9 years
that have happened
but pain of losing loved ones
that never healed
it had a name that we never knew
tsunami , what that name meant
came with a pain , it's was not for few
many people knew the same pain

For ones lose their loved one's
there's still a pain inside
but there's nothing else to do
seeing tears fill in their eyes
than sharing the grief with them
I'm here keeping the two-minute silence
remembering those who lost their lives
with many others grieving

They will never be forgotten
one's who got buried
in this earth in tens of thousands
and ones who helped us
get on our feet , their kindness
will never be forgotten
I'm standing here in silence
remembering ones we lost .

This poem dedicated to ones lost their lives in indian ocean tsunami in 2004-12-26 and ones who grieves for their lost loved ones today and who helped after the disaster .
