Tsunades mistake

So i was thinking about when pein invaded konoha and thought did tsunade make a mistake by staying out of the battle, would she have helped more by facing pein. I know she helped alot but when pein used his reanimation jutsu there were alot of dead ninja who were brought back to life. Ive always thought she was weak and now knowing what we know about her from the latest manga chapters i would say she is extremely powerful.

Just think how much she could have done to help fight against pein if she went into titty-seal mode where she can pretty much take any damage. So kakashi is fighting pein tsunade turns up gets pulled in by force power pein and impaled and nothing happens then bam take that yahiko pein one punch knockout. I wish she fought instead, i know jiraiya would have if he were hokage, minato would have done them all in a flash. Hell remember the third taking on orochimaru i think he could have escaped maybe but he was like **** yeah bring it orochimaru you dissapointment.

Also i think jiraiya would have been really helpful in the 5 kages madara fight, he would be slightly more helpful than any kage considering he could summon those 3 giant frogs and has a ton of jutsu, i definently know if he replaced mei he would be a hell of alot more helpful mei isnt very good compared to other kages especially tsunade and gaara. Sorry i got off point anyway i think if she fought pein instead of helping villagers which her slug summon was doing anyway she would have saved more lives and made the anime alot more action packed, i mean she could 1 shot the summons and everything would have gone alot easier with her fighting. What do you guys think?

Yeah but if she would have fought pein then Naruto's glory wouldn't be as big and then most of the shinobis would be dead.
U remember when Naruto Talked to pein,Pein then did that technique of resurection because of Naruto. The manga would be totaly different and be more boring if she would have fought.

Kishimoto's way is a lot better His the master-mind behind Naruto so don't complain!!!

It's because of plot no jutsu, even Gai who'd be more effective than Tsunade in a fight vs Pein was not in village when Pein invaded Konoha.If he was here ,he'd defeat Deva and robot path with Kakashi.

and say hey im as old as dirt i think ill just sit back and support

I get what your saying but my point is alot of those ninja would not have died if she got involved in the battle. I think she would have made short work of each pein body as they were seperated so 1 on 1 she destroys them apart from the force push one which is called deva path i think

I actually dont think now that gai would have been more effective than tsunade she is 1 shot knockout and yeah gai would have gone beast mode on pein i dont know how most pein bodies would even begin to react to him once he is in gates lol

Thats what im talking about a kage leads the forces, boosts moral as they are the specialist in the village and tsunade would have fought and destroyed alot of pein bodies really fast

First of all, Hiruzen was trapped in a barrier with Orochimaru, he had no choice to fight

2nd Tsunade's specialty remains healing, she did it well, and her close combat is only last resort, she did try but she was outta chakra

Some of you kinda miss the point... The role of the Hokage is to save the village and protect it at all costs therefore since Tsunade couldn't actually defend the Leaf from Pain she at least saved the people.

She could have fought up to the point when Pain used Shinra Tensei to blow up Konoha at which point i consider that she made the right decision in order to save as many lives as she can.

she had a choice when pain used shinra, to protect the village or fight him after and she chose to save those left alive. Pretty good hokage to me. =D

I gotta disagree with some of you guys you dont seem to be getting the point if she had helped and fought i dont think it would have got to pein using the super shinra tensei due to the fact she could have taken out the summons which in turn would have freed alot of other ninja to help, taken out asura path so that kakashi would have been successful in defeating deva path or even gone and helped kakashi. My point is i think it was a mistake staying out of the fight she should have done what she is doing now in the manga and i mean pretty soon into peins invasion not right at the end when she was chakraless and pretty useless because then less people would have suffered and died all cause she alone could have thwarted peins plan if she went 1 on 1 against each pein body.

If she was fighting pain, she would never have Katsyu covering the citizens in time for the Shinra Tensei.
