mito uzumaki was either there during or aftr fight between 1st hokage n madara at valley of end cus the story kushina (spelling) told naruto during fight to control kurama (coming up in anime series) or somewhere around there in manga , she said in order to aid the first she "gained control of the kyubi and sealed it in herself, making herself into her the jinkuri and aftr passed on the duty of jinkuri to kushina uzumaki ,makes me believe the first dint fight that fight totally alone, he cud hav had back up from mito with her taking the kyubi out of the fight (meaning she was a boss cus minato cud've only sealed half of the kyubi's original chakra mass ) before passing on that role to kushina uzumaki also i dunno if this was noticed before n posted by anyone else (my 1st thread so bear with me), but mito had the same mark/seal that tsunade has!! so its an uzumaki tech.

Yes, I have reasons to believe so.

The most important one is that after Naruto won the Kyuubi's chakra permanently when he battled it with the aid of Kushina, the fox had regenerated shortly after.

Minato didn't seal the Kyuubi's chakra reserves or it's ability to regenerate chakra. He just sealed half of it's chakra so newborn Naruto wouldn't have a problem containing it.

Plus, if the Kyuubi right now had only half of it's original chakra, I bet it would have been mentioned by someone untill now.

Don't care to join the discussion about Kurama having full chakra or not (it is off topic)
Regarding the Original topic, that is just a seal to store chakra, nothing more... and since the Uzumakis are so good at seals and stuff like that and since Mito also had it, it might indeed be an Uzumaki seal, not that it would make any difference.

it does make a diff tho cus i jus noticed some minute things whilst reading manga, n it shows the possibility that mito had aided the first during his fight with madara so if any one knows the true story about that fight it wud b her. n that seal she had meant she remained around long aftr his death so she knows all bout tsunade, her parents , the second hokage , konoha's history up until kushina's arrival. maybe naruto will learn more from some one who had been around and rubbed shoulders with mito ? idk but i dud think that wudve been gud for the story line in order to clear up some inconsistencies with tobi's story.

The Uzumaki were sealing experts so I guess it's plausible.

Mito was Tsunade's grandmother so it makes sense somewhat

Not in the sense that they share the same blood. But Jiraiya was the closest thing Naruto had to a grandpa. In fact he was Naruto's godfather.

So I think what medz is saying is that she's somewhat "related" to Naruto because of how she and Jiraiya were practically a couple

Well sure in spirit she is like his Grandma in a way sense she really admires him cause of the whole Nawaki and Dan thing and her almost relationship with Jiraiya.
