The only thing that determines whether you live or die in this manga is plot. You could be in the most hopeless situation ever facing imminent death and if Kishi wants you to survive he can find a bullshit way for you to survive. Still I think that Tsunade will die soon because story wise it would add drama and make sense for her to die saving the other Kage's and opening up the Hokage position. I just feel it is her time to go and it would be lame if all the Kage's ended up surviving the fight with Madara in a so called war.

Think about the whole thing including the Sage's Body, her medical techs and her summon... it would make sense.
It wouldn't make sense for her to die like that, after Kishimoto didn't explain nothing on how they got into that situation.

Well, I give you that. But dunno if it's going to happen.
In a interview this year, Kishi stated that he's not killing any major character...
But that doesn't mean that in the end he will not use hell of a disturbing drawings.
Because that chapter with the kages, hell... :|
