Sasuke wants to know everything about the clan and the village. In order to this, he wanted to meet the Hokages. As we can see, he remembers the Kage's and Hokage's face too.

Now Orochimaru revived the four previous Hokages, but obviously Tsunade isn't here.

What I think is the following:

Every Hokage knows something about either the Will of Fire, either about the Uchiha clan. For example: Hashirama knows what happened in his era, Tobirama knows what happened in his era and so on. So maybe there are things that only Tsunade can tell.
She is a Hokage after all. She had knowledge about Naruto's parents.When she first met Naruto, she already knew Naruto is the jinchuuriki of the 9 tails, etc, etc.
Furthermore, she inherited Hashirama's Will of Fire too.


And this would answer why Kishi didn't killed her in the chapter 601 ( or 602 ) Hiruzen, Minato, Asuma, Jman, Neji, etc. all died in a battle, protecting the Leaf. And their death wasn't off screen. Why should be Tsunade an exception?

But sadly this is just a theory. It can happen Kishi troll her- again.

tsunade's name suddenly came into my mind after the 4 kages were edo'ed..

remember when ORO asked tsunade to heal his hand (Cursed).... if she could(as what oro said) overturn the power of RDS (as what hiruzen did to oro's hand) she MAY be able to reverse the EDO on the 4 kages...

It won't be so heroic, like dying in a battle, protecting the Hidden Leaf. She is a Hokage, she should die in a battle. And not in offscreen time.

2. We can't know this for sure. Maybe Tsunade has her own secrets too.

1.She saves the Kage and dies
2.She saves the Kage and lives (if Hashi breaks the edo he might be able to see her wounded on the way to the battlefield...)

She is at least a quarter Uzumaki and was taught jutsu by her grand mother the wife of Hashirama (she at least lived long enough to see the birth of Naruto). Mito was highly skilled at Fuuinjutsu because she was able to subdue the Kyuubi and seal it within herself (never heard of anyone else doing that in the Narutoverse) while Hashirama fought Madara and she may have aided Tsunade in the creation of her Byakugou seal.
I think more Uzumaki sealing knowledge will be revealed and may be we'll see Tsunade use one. But OT I agree she isn't dead.

Nope, The kages were revived for the following reasons.

Hashirama and Tobimaru have intel on the edo tensie jutsu. Below is a scan where kabuto is asked whether there is a weakness to the edo tensie, he smirks and thinks of the same scroll that suigestsu found in kabutos secret lab and gave to sasuke. The weakness to the jutsu was Orochimaru who is the only person who had the ability to revive the 1st and the 2nd hokages, who are the creators of the edo(technically just the 2nd but the 1st would have been informed of all the weaknesses in the jutsu since he is the hokage). And so Hashi and Tobi are the weaknesses of the edo tensie because they would know how to end it even with the person who summoned the edo being dead.

Minato and Hiruzen were revived because they are the only 2 people who have powerful seals for the Edo's. Remember Hiruzen sealed away Hashi and Tobi, and minato knows the technique as well.


So to me when they say "The ones who know everything" they dont mean the ones who know everything about the Uchiha's destruction, Sasuke doesnt need that as he has already resolved himself to killing the village. But what they mean is the ones who know everything about defeating the edo tensie jutsu. Sasuke and Orocimaru both want to destroy the leaf village and theyll be damned if they let Madara do it first. The 4 revived kage were revived to take on Madara, Obito and the 9 tails, the unstoppable force meets the unmovable object.

With that said I dont know if she will die or not, I was just saying that your reasons for thinking she wouldnt die were wrong. Kishi seems to be on a killing spree lately... poor neji... but seeing as to how Tsunade has already seen a death scare as she was in that coma he has already pulled on the heart strings of the readers by threatening killing her, so much so that I dont think many people would be too shocked at her death, not like they were shocked at neji's. If he was going to kill someone it would be like sakura, or maybe rock lee or even kakashi.
