Who would win between these two the 3rd hokage at 71 fought Orichimaru with everything he's got, Although he lost the match his legacy remain in all of konoha. Tsunade in the other hand is the granddaughter of the first hokage and known throughout the world as the best medical ninja and the princess of the leaf. The 3rd hokage is her teacher and as the saying goes its a duty and honor for a student to surpassed there mentors or teachers. So here is my question who would win between these 2 tsunade at 53 and 3rd hokage at 71 in a all and all hardcore match to the death. Would the fifth hokage make her grandparents proud or would she fall to her grave who side are u on xd

tsunade wins this. Here are my reasons:
- She seems like she could outlast Hiruzen. Her style tells me "strong"... "swift" and "enduring"
I think you would need those three traits beat a man like Hiruzen.
- Her healing techniques are her saviour...and her summoning can be handy when it comes to AoE damage.
- I have yet to see ninjutsu hit tsunade... she seems like she is too fast for it.

Am going with tsunade cause I believe that her chakara and endurance would allow her to win this match.She only need one blow to win this match while the third hokage need numerous. She also has an immortality infinity meaning her genesis rebirth can allow her to withstand any powerful attack that the third would throw at her and be able to survive. The third is too old but I realise that ppl on here thinks tsunade is the weakest hokage but I believe she can defeat the third at the age of 71 lol

3rd hokage wins hands down he is the strongest hokage took on both the first,second and orch when he was out of his prime.He mastered all the leaf justus and even kabuto called him the strongest hokage.
He was the strongest hokage in his prime but NOT at age 71. He could of barely fight Orichimaru and even he knew that he was going to loose and die. The 3rd hokage made a statement to Konohamaru that the rainbow Signifies evil when Orichimaru was already taking over the village. He already predicted the coming of a snake which is the nickname of his student and well known sannin. The 3rd plan was to seal Orichimaru from the very beginning. He is one of the most smartest and intelligent hokage in history and even though he new his life was coming but the faith of the younger generation was shinning bright in him cause he relied on them for the future of konoha. But in reality he did not stand a chance with any of the legendary sannin the man was to damn old orichimaru was toying with him the whole fight. Tsunade, Jiraya and Orichimaru can defeat the 3rd hokage at 71 he is to overrated at that age

Tsunade will destroy Hiruzen at age 71 for sure.
Hiruzen's ninjutsu is whack as we have already seen.
