Yes, she led taijutsu offense, just like Mei led jutsu to deflect or assis, Gaara dealt with sealing. Oonoki did his Jinton here and there. Onoki didn't help her because she didn't need it

They all had a role, I don't care about the unecessary details of how said fight went in your head. She led the taijutsu offense. That's cold hard in the manga. We must not give Naruto's feats with frog kata to Jiraya :S

That plan ended with the Raikage breaking through Susano'o, Tsunade's ended with her being gutted :/ Actually she did need it, like Madara says, she's slower than the Raikage. Given that her strength is higher, it would be best to make her faster to actually deal some dmg.

It's not about how it went in my head, we all know how the fight ended, and how her plan using byakugou to rush madara ended as well. Thing is, it's highly ridiculous to present those as "feats" because well, there ain't much there to discuss about her offensive skills.

IDK why ppl think the toads grant him infinite SM, even they were telling him he needs to learn to use it on his own.

The difference is that this is a taijutsu battle, it's a stamina battle, not a chakra battle. As long as Jiraiya uses Taijutsu, he should be able to maintain his SM forever since his chakra won't be depleted (or will be expended at the very minimum at worst). Unlike Tsunade, who needs to use her chakra both to attack with CES, and heal herself. All in all, she will run out first than Jiraiya.

I can think of at least 6 people off the top of my head that can beat her in a Taijutsu battle.

Tsunade could beat jiraiya like way too easily; this is a stomp. Frog kata gets dismantled by punching the whole ground into a large crater and dismembering her foothold. He cant focus his punches or stuff anymore. Sage mode gives strength but not enough to damage or even scratch tsunade, considering the fact she can wreck the ground with a single finger. The fight will go exactly like it went in canon.
Tsunade strength >> SM.

SM outclasses tsunade in:
- reflexes
- brute strength(lifting & grappling)
- speed
- physical durability
- striking power with 1-frame Senpo rasengans

so she will never hit him, but her punch wouldn't hurt him anyway unless he was completely blindsided & by a headshot

Tsunade was able to casually lift and swing Gamabunta's blade ( before the power scaling happened and Kishi gave her more power! ), what are Jiraiya's feats again?

- speed
- physical durability
- striking power with 1-frame Senpo rasengans

Durability means nothing when Tsunade can shatter his bones with only one hit. She's also quite durable herself, as seen when she survived the teleportation that was supposed to rip her body to shreds.

KCM Naruto with Cho Oodama rasengan wasn't able to get through V1, so no rasengan in Jiraiya's arsenal has better striking power.

Tsunade. Jiraiya do not have enough Durability feats to say he can overwhelm or even come close to, in taijutsu which has a 5 in tsunades book list. Wrecked a Susanoo effortlessly with a kick. Jiraiya wrecked.
