Sure, crushing the ground to prevent him from further actions is also an option. If she has the knowledge, she won't allow him to to so. And even then, Hidan should not be underestimated. Akatsuki made him Kakuzu's partner so latter couldn't kill him. Even Kakuzu himself stated you can't kill him. Tsunade's punch could break one's bones and cause internal damage, but that won't stop Hidan. Breaking his skull? Who knows. But don't forget about Hidan's agility. He does fine at close combat as well with his scythe.

But as caterpillar said, Tsunade could also rip Hidan's **** hole apart.

fighting in close combat with someone who has super strength is suicide (unless you have super speed), blocking and punching would be impossible plus her healing abilities, and i know you weren't serious about the wire thing ............................. :|

if Hidan can cut himself then there must be a destructive force strong enough to crush him (means that his body has a limit), so since the explosive papers did the job then Tsunade's punches would be just too much.

..and if she has Byakugo active while Hidan does the ritual, he may survives it, since she could heal most damage Hidan leaves to her. And before Hidan makes even more damage, she crushes the ground.

Please, even Asuma was tanking most of his attacks ( he survived even his own Katon technique ).
A half dead Tsunadde who was cut in half had the power to summon the slug, so even if Hidan can make his ritual, and even if he stabs himself, Tsunade will be still able to summon the slug who would melt the ritual circle.

Hidan gets raped, intel or not.
