thats what i was thinking, but i honestly think madara is really just gonna leave like he said he wants too.
i dont think tsunade will die till naruto takes over,
Darui can take A's spot but i dont see that happening,(think they also made A look weak after all the hype they built on him)
Mizukage could die, but i dont see it helping the plot in anyway and we dont know her that well so maybe it will happen,
Gaara has the least chance of dying from them.
and Onoki is asking for it, so if anyone dies now it looks like its him, and hes old so he cant do much more for the story after gaara helped him find his will and he fought so well this last time.

I think none of the kages should die except for Onoki maybe, but then again who is going to be the next Tsuchikage? The only option is Kitsuchi, and I don't know, I just don't see him as a kage, he is ... he is not impressiveU_U. Gaara and Mei can't die, there is nobody in their village that we know of who can be the next kage. A can die actually, since he is a bit useless with one arm. And Tsunade is not going to die IMO but is going to give up her title to Naruto in the end of the series. Well thats how I think.

Gaara just prevented causing more damage to Mei, not saving her life. She was just sent flying by a susano punch. And you say Mei would have died if Tsunade didn't save her, the same goes for A, Gaara and Onoki then. And you really think chojuro or Ao would be a better mizukage? gtfo

First of all I'm a guy, look at the gender sign, and no I'm not a Mei fanboy, you're just a Mei hater.
Maybe she has weak willpower, but she is right, the kages can't defeat edo Madara, and besides you think Chojuro would be a better kage while he has the weakest willpower in the whole narutoverse, so that makes no sense.
She is not weak, she has three element, two kekkei genkai and one of the best water elements techniques in the naruto world.
@Bold: Where the hell did you saw Gaara taken care of her madara clones, he was busy with his own, and when he helped Mei, he got attacked from behind from his own madara opponents. Please this is just to easy,come with better arguments you big hater.

But this isnt about mei...i think tsunade is going to die because of past foreboding of her illness and reaction to her extreme use of healing abilities and yin release...its also one of the things that will let naruto take the spot of her as hokage...and follow up his dream and follow gaara and be another kage..

ooniki makes sense to die too as he got his spark back from gaara and his having his final battle...but he does need to pass on dust release...perhaps to titsuchi (i think thats his name?)

First things first: I Dont Want Tsunade To Die - But It Would Have Already Happened If Not For Circumstance: Read

Ok so...we know Dan saved Tsunade from Madara's Susano'o stab wound - but there is definitly something that most people have overlooked!

During the Pein invasion - we saw the drain that using her chakra to support the other members of the leaf through her summon had on her...the ability that she used - if im not mistaken was a form of 'yin release' just like the one she used during the Oro, J-man fight in part 1...
Now if i recall...Tsunade's hand became old and decrepit after using her yin release - it shortened her life...she's also been allocating her chakra to make herself look younger for longer...

Furthermore, using the yin:release - yet another time and a further extent during the Pein invasion - 'hospitilized' (As they had tents...) Tsunade for long enough for Danzo to try and take command...we also see her old and damaged body from overuse of the technique...

NOW:

In the war Tsunade has essentially 'spammed' her Yin:release ability to cope with fighting off Madara - which is extremely draining on her chakra and life force - she would usually have fainted and become old looking again...

But as Dan saved Tsunade - from the stab wound (another reason she should be dead) - He gives her chakra somehow (through the kiss to the forehead) to sustain her life...
if it wasn't for dan and his chakra/ giving it to Tsunade - no matter if he had saved her from the stab wound or not - she would have died from her over-use and 'spam' of yin release ability

This has been foreshadowed epicly as we have seen Tsunade become weaker after over-use of her healing abilities

I don't see why Tsunade will die at this moment. Especially after getting restored just now. It seemed she got some kind of chakra boost from Dan's spirit.

It would be better and more interesting if Kage's can come up with some strategy to deal with Madara.

Alternatively, Sasuke coming will do the job as well. That would help him in getting rid of missing nin status and coming back to village if he wants afterwards.

yeah, but the thread was that she should have died by now - the fact that shes been saved means shes important (and i think thats to save Naruto (parallel with Dan and her little bro who she couldnt save) when he is killed / kyuubi is take from him)

In my opinion ALL 5 KAGES WILL SURVIVE,
but kishi is using "outer-extras" to save the kages lives.

REASON? To make MADARA LOOK BADASS AND POWERFUL AS WE HAVE ALREADY SEEN

Extra helps for Kages:
*Release of Edo: Helped to stop the perfect Susanoo Rampage
*Oonoki's Super Jinton (with tsunade's help): that wiped out 25 level 2 susanoo's..... IN MY OPINION THE KAGES WOULD MOST LIKELY SHOULD HAVE DIED HERE.

*Byakugou: Tsunade has never shown this till now.
*Dan: Dan saved Tsunade, after she saved the other 4 kages..... Anything else has to be said?

this are some stuff that the kages have been pulling out of nowhere, or have been lucky of getting it with perfect timing.

HONESTLY, I think Kishi's intention is not to kill the 5 kages, but to make Madara look STRONG AND FORMIDABLE. The same way he did with Pain during Pain's Arc..... For example: Pain fought an entire village and destroyed it. Later he fought Naruto with 2 Sage Mode Recharges+Intel, still beated him. Until Naruto transformed into 6 tails, pain was barely handling it, but in the end still came on top. Later the 6 tails transformed into 8 tails and then fought another sage mode naruto. IN THAT MOMENT NAGATO, still had enough chakra to fight Naruto (proof: Gedo Rinne Tensei on whole village).......

THIS IS A PROOF OF HOW POWERFUL NAGATO WAS AND HOW HE DIED, WITH NO ONE IN THE VILLAGE DYING...........

SO I THINK KISHI WILL DO SOMETHING LIKE THIS WITH MADARA, MAKE HIM LOOK ALMIGHTLY STRONG, PUT ALL THE CARDS IN THE KAGES SIDE TO MAKE THEM WIN.
