Chick was capable of returning the life force to someones arms. I wouldn't count something like saving Itachi to be out of her ability, esp if medicine was keeping him alive.​

Originally itachi was going to kidnap Sakura and have her fix him to further annoy Sasuke
But kishi realized that sasuke was to strong to be kidnapped logically and didn't want her to kill itachi
