Jinton wouldn't be viable since Tsunade (and possibly Gaara) would be taken out along with it. Suiton Daikodan is a the perfect counter to Jinton, since i believe it would absorb the chakra from the attack.

Overall, the match up aims to stack the odds in the Kage's favour. Why not Deidara since Team 2 lacks in aerial fighters ? Why not Itachi since Oonki is on his level ?

Team 1 mid diif,putting tsunade and onoki in the same team is quite harshxd,then adding gaara in it makes it a pretty formadible team.

Gaara dosent need an antidote,since his sand armour and shield/shere would render scratches obselete.

Gaara first does this

to change the ground a bit and to counter kisame's water,

then onoki does a giant rock golem,to smash them.

Gaara could trap them with karura clones

or make a karura clone the size f noki's giant golem to aid them both.

i think at the time of onoki vs muu, those two were portrayed as the strongest characters in the series up to that point in the manga. onoki should be the difference maker in this fight although i think the akatsuki have more depth in the 3 man team u mentioned. kages win.
