What are you guys talking about? The sand village and kirigakure are weak village. In Suna for example, In the entire village they have pratically no medecine ninja good enough to extract poison to the point that the only hope they had to call a old hag like Chiyo to actually do something and even her was incapable to do a thing. They had to wait for Sakura(Tsunade's pupil from Konoha) to actually manage to do the job
They have no detection-barrier that a village usually must have to be able to detect an enemy and because of that, enemys like Deidara could enter the village and continue to follow their path as if they were going home
The enemy enter the village, capture the Kazekage, and go home without being tracable by any means(they actually lost track to them). That means in the entire village they lack sensor ninjas or even other trackers to the point that they

(a konoha ninja) to actually do the job for them(you can even see how disappointed Kakashi is when he asks the question)
No wonder Deidara could have soloed this village. No wonder Jiraya thought he could solo the village in part1, and so on. Their most powerful fighters(Kankuro, Temari, Gaara) are above average in Konoha besides Gaara, the only threat. Once he gets killed, i see Sunagakure giving no problems to the trio. Same goes for Kirigakure. Besides 7swordsmen that got decimated, they are all weak. Even Mei is weaker than the trio in individual combat
The advantage Konoha has is that their top jounin ninjas are at least as strong as Kages of other villages if not stronger. If Kakashi, Tsunade, Gai, Naruto and even Hiashi was in another village like Suna or Kiri, i'm pretty sure they would have been kage

İf so; Sand and Mist will definetely lose. Their only shinobies of them who can compare to these three guys' levels are Mei and Gaara. Tsunade attaches mini Katsuyus to Kakashi and Gai; so they can spam their techs and fight for longer periods of time; and can communicate as well. Come to think o it; Rock loses as well; Onoki's stamina can't handle these guys at the same time. There are other shinobies like Temari, Choujuro, Kurotsuchi in these villages but to be fair; i don't see them as much forces against these three ninja. Oh and countless fodders. They would be crushed under Techs like Hirudora or get absorbed by Katsuyu clones and remain restricted.
To be honest; the only one which i can see as standing a chance is Cloud due to fact that they posess a perfect jin. Other lose imo.
