Tsunade is underrated smdh, hopefully we see what she's made of so we can burst some people's bubbles.
my only problem with that excuse is that a hokage is supposed to be able to protect the village from danger and keep it safe, even if it cost them their lives doing it, they're still able to ward off the threat. Hashirama did it when Madara attacked and with the kyuubi. Tobirama managed to keep Konoha safe. Hiruzen did it not only during his first riegn but again in his extremely old age against a very powerful Orochimaru. And Minato did it when this Tobi character attacked Konoha also with the kyuubi
If Tsunade supposedly hasn't shown us what she's made of when the village needs its hokage the most; which is when its being attacked and possibily destroyed...then when is she? There was the excuse when we saw her getting beat by Kabuto, or atleast fighting on par with him that she wasn't at her best cause she was a0 rusty and b) when she started to shake off some of that rust Kabuto exploited her fear of blood...which was more or less true and I'd buy that...
But then she did overcome her fear and gave it all she got against Orochimaru, only that doesn't look good cause he was armless and thus w/o the capability of doing any jutsu and relegated to armless taijutsu...but by that point she had taken alot of damage so you can make the argument that by the time she was ready it she wasn't physically fresh but had substained so much damage
But she had no such excuse when Pain attacked Konoha and effectively destroyed it...he didn't just sneak in and attack a few places here and there...he
leveled the entire village to rubble and she wasn't able to do a thing to stop him and protect the people
Naruto pretty much had to pull a Goku and come in at the last minute to save everybody and defeat the enemy...Naruto was the hero when Konoha needed saving while Tsunade pretty much watched
Hashirama, Hiruzen Sarutobi nor Minato would have done that...they would have been able to do something
