Tsunade is not a Senju

I have seen people saying Tsunade is from the Senju clan, but i'm about to correct that huge mistake, her grandfather is Hashirama Senju, but no one knows if he was the father of Tsunade's mother/the father of Tsunade's father.
I say her mother is a Senju and her father is from another clan, because Tsunade's element is Lightning while people from the Senju clan are Water/Earth elements users U_U.
