Is their such thing as Chakra level that are Mid-Jounin to High-Kage. The way I look at is that Tsunade has average Chakra Levels similar to the average (or "fodder") Chuunin to Jounin rank Shinobi. Their is a such thing as Chakra Control which when mastered or perfected to a degree, it ables a Shinobi to perform Justsu with less Chakra. Tsunade is a Medical ninja who mastered Chakra Control to a degree. She also possess the Yin Seal placed on her forehead which stores extra Chakrs when needed for later use. The only known Shinobi or Clan with large Chakra reserves are the Uzumaki and the only Shinobi known to possess Chakra Level compare to Bijuu is the Third Raikage (A).

In the terms of "Power Scaling," I would place her as Kage Level Skilled becuase she is a Kage, but If she was still Sannin, I would say Jounin Level Skilled.

Senju also have large Chakra reserves. The Uzumaki are a off shoot of the Senju. With that said you forgot Tsunade is Senju.

Well, she's underrated. She was able to surprise Madara when he was talking shit. She has enormous reserves of chakra, and the seal release making her damn-near invincible, and healing without any hand signs. Not to mention the monstrous raw strength. People just don't like her, so they will never say a good thing about her. Shit, I don't like her very much, either, but she's certainly worthy of her title.

Most people prefer the characters that are out, shooting ridiculous amounts of lightning and fire at other people. She is a support type, so she will naturally be less popular than characters like Minato, Sasuke, etc. She's still a ****ing beast, though.

If I had to choose the most powerful of the current Kage, I'd put Tsunade right under A, and probably Onoki. I think Gaara will surpass her in time, but he's still young. And Mei is ****ing awesome, but she really doesn't stand out. She has some very unique, devastating jutsu, but so do A LOT of other characters. She's very bland, in my opinion.

i believe tsunade has more chakra than the fourth raikage who is said to have chakra levels rivalling tailed beast.therefore tsunade would have a massive amount of chakra, plus it uses more chakra than normal to perform medical ninjutsu ESPECIALLY REGENERATION TECHNIQUES.

I honestly Dnt know why ppl hate on tsuande I mean yes compared to her other kages she's lower on totem pole but as rank of kage is being able to protect ur village being strongest in it (not including naruto he main charecter)

She knows the body and her own will of fire honestly the only thing she lacks is a little speed but she's shown to have gotten faster..

Tsunade was said to be somewhat of a master at taijutsu cuz her strength
A a taijutsu genious cuz he mixed it with ninjutsu (well learned it from his dad)
Gaara no taijutsu lml weak point but how he fights he doesn't need it
Onooki haven't seen him use taijutsu but his back is frail.. But he has stregth to lift up entire island without problems

Gaara has only one ability but his creativity for tht abilitiy makes him a master at ninjutsu in his own right

And it's not JUST her massive amount of chakra. She can also manipulate chakra better than just about everyone else, because she's a medical-nin, and the BEST med nin other than Hashirama. That kind of control gives you a huge edge. Minato also have fantastic chakra control, and look at what he was able to achieve.

Naturally, she doesn't shine in a fight too much, but that's because she set up the 3-man teams, with the medical-nin staying away from the fight if possible. Think about that, she has a lot less actual battle experience than any other Kage, or most jonin, yet she's still able to go toe to toe with Madara. Imagine if she hadn't been a medical-nin. Broken.
