I feel that she won't die there. She needs a resolution and a "pass on" thing like with the others. So maybe she'll survive up to the batterfield where the others are and say something to Naruto, as well to Sakura, and then die.

I'm not totally sold on her dying yet... but if so I agree with Chatte that she needs closure and indeed a class ending to a classy lady.. Kishi owes that much at the very least.

Now before you flame me read this:

Orochimaru and Jman died in battles. Jiraiya died when he fought Pain. Orochimaru died twice when he thought he can defeat an Uchiha. We have seen the WHOLE fight. It wasn't off screen.

But in Tsunade's case we don't know what happened... We haven't seen how Madara defeated her.

We got this picture, but nothing else, no explanation.

I think her character deserves a true and heroic death. She is a Sannin and a Hokage. And they all died in a battle, protecting the Leaf.
She should die in a battle too, and not in offscreen time... I know it will be heroic if she can heal the others , but still...

And here is what I think:

- She will heal the Kages and somehow she will survive too.
- They rejoin the battle and she will sacrifice herself to protect Naruto. She always protected him. I think this would be the "best death" for her character.

It really doesn't matter that she is one of the three Sannin.

However, given that she is Hokage, she will be given a heroic death. Just as Tobirama, Hiruzen, Minato, and presumably Hashirama did.

Tsunade had the option to be healed by Katsuyu, but chose to have the others brought to her.

If she dies healing them....it will honestly be on of the most heroic deaths in the series.

She always mentioned how the medics always heals the team. And I'd she saves them all while cut in half....that's really amazing work.

Death in direct combat isn't always the most dramatic ways to die...for example, say you stay in a nuclear power plant that's about to meltdown in order to save as many lives as you csn...very heroic

I don't think her dying here would be heroic. Mainly because she failed to stop Madara, there would be no purpose to her death expect maybye heal the Kages but I don't think that's enough. Maybye it might if the Kages play a big role in the battle.
