If she dies, she will die as a true hero cut in half and summoning Katsuyu to bring the Kage back to life.
But if she lives........... That would be a legend of "the girl who lived". lolz
I have my hopes in Katsuyu because she seemed so confident with the idea of pulling Tsunade's body back together. However, the chances that she dies are enormous .
In spite of this, anything she does from this point on will make her "the almighty granny"... a woman of 55 years old who fought to the last moment with a Kami (God) Madara and was the more likely among all the kages of damaging Madara. A woman of 55 years old who even split in half is able to make summoning justu of a legendary Slug and bring 4 ppl back from the afterlife.

Tsunade haters... just deal with it!

Tsunade never died during the Pain invasion, she only collapsed from exhaustion and entered a comatose state because she had over used her chakra to the point where she was on the brink of death.

But this is different than actually dying. What she did during the Pain invasion is often overlooked because she didn't actually engage in a fight with Pain. But who else could have protected the village like she did during that invasion? She saved hundreds, no probably thousands of lives using Katsyu and her own chakra to heal the villagers through her summon.

I will miss granny tsunade because she was the most influential women in the naruto world, she is a sennin, now hokage, and grand daughter of the great Hashirama. Although i hate to say it Tsunade will save the other kages but die with honor and gratitude from her people for being a great shinobi.

she will save the Kages and then they will try saving her but she dies to meet Dan her lover. I knew she was gonna die after meeting Dan cos her heart is with him and she wants to be with him, even though he said she shouldnt come back yet, she has achieved what she can.

she will then tell them to work with Naruto to defeat Madara, and then they will come together with Naruto (MADARA's face is like :/ WTF!!! I KILLED U GUYZ)... They then make a nice collaboration with the one and only Uzumaki Naruto and Madara is a goner!

She is NOT cut in half! Only her legs are cut off. Her upper body is unharmed. Her heart, brain, liver, etc. is unharmed. She can survive this! After all she is a living legend!

I think she saves them.. then Lives.. with no Legs maybe.. but she will Live!!!

I have always liked Tsunade, thinking about it she is definitely in my top 5 characters from Naruto. But, I really do not see there being any way out for her. I mean, she is completely chopped in half, with the bottom half 15 feet away. In the real world she would have already bled out before she could do anything. But what would happen in the real world is irrelevant.

She is going to get the badass last moment of awesome she deserves and will save the other kages. From what she said in the manga I think she was brushing off Katsuyu's offer to put her back together as something that was not going to happen at all. Its one of those "don't worry about me, I have another way out" situations where they are about to sacrifice themselves and there is no way out.

From a plot perspective it makes sense that she would die and no other kage would tho. This way Naruto can smoothly transition into being the hokage after the war (the series is ending after the war and a few rebuilding blah blah blah chapters, sorry to say to anyone in denial about it never ending). With all of the other kages still alive and well, they can universally recognize Naruto as being a swell guy and they can form a single nation of love and peace etc etc.

Sadly people overlook all that Tsunade did because it was all made meaningless by Nagato's mass revival plot bull shit. The way things turned out it probably would have been better if she hadn't done all that she did and was instead duking it out on the front lines, which I think really undercuts Tsunade's awesomeness.

How is she fodder? A kage can never be considered fodder. Unless you're changing the definition of fodder relative to the changes in strength of Naruto.... which if you think like that eventually everyone will be fodder. That's actually kinda poetic....

I'm voting for saving the Kage's from the brink of death and her dying herself. But b4 she dies I'd hope that she'd be able to pass on the title of Hokage to Naruto personally (or perhaps though a message like Garra joining Naruto at the next battlefield and telling him that's he's the Hokage)

Although it wouldn't be formal, it's practially assured that he'd get Jounin vote from being the leaf's hero.

But ignore my rambling, perhaps Kishi will leave him a hero and have him die to Sasuke, but his promotion to hokage would most likely come at the end of the series..
