Would like to see this, what I have a problem with as of right now and how it relates to Tsunade is this. How come she's had so many close calls with death in her fight with Madara, but has not yet died? Dan came and told Tsunade how he feels about her, that he respected her decision to live on his dream and even begged her not to die yet. Does any of that seem relevant? Why is it that Katsyu said she could put her body back together again? I just don't know that her death is set in stone yet, and Slug Sage Mode is a definite possibility at this point.

Well if you think at it, tactically what they had to do is seal Madara or keep him at bay until EDO would've been released.
So if you think about it, she chose wisely to use only Byakugou Mode.
I mean, after her Byakugou ran out, if Madara wouldn't have had that secret to know how to release his EDO contract, he would've been history and they would've been victorious even if Madara pulled out Perfect Susanoo.
But as Madara did the release, here comes Dan's role.
He gives her chakra (and I wonder the amount, cause he was EDO in the end ), the perfect thing that she needs.
As her body can take the damage cause she's a Senju, she has enough chakra to heal the kages and (hopefully) herself.
After she gets the kages back on their feets, they head out where Madara is and BAM!
Perfect timing to help Naruto and to pull out Slug Sage Mode.

PS: There is a small panel where she prepares to do a seal when Madara takes out Perfect Susanoo and I keep wondering what she was preparing to do...

Well, what can I say, the only "fodder" that was able to put up a good fight against the no. 1 antagonist at the moment and is still alive after being cut in half. I wanna see another "fodder" in Narutoverse that can survive something like this.

I think that too. It's her Trump Card and as we've seen, it was used only on very very special ocasions.

If Jiraya/Naruto was powerful as hell given Frog Kata's Sage Mode, how will Tsunade be if she already has this tremendous strinking power?

haha, ya it's kind of scary to think about what Tsunade might do with Slug Sage Mode, and an increased temper. But I think from what we've seen of Frog Sage Mode and Snake Sage Mode each has it's own benefits that it bestows upon the user, Slug Sage Mode could be the same.

Plus people keep saying that Shikkotsurin might be for craws because of the bone thing BUT I still think it's for Tsunade.

I mean Humid Bone Forest.
Forest and humidity = perfect climate for slugs
Bone = the shell that grows when they pass on the next level as snails OR the teeth they have from where they spit that acid.
Though I still make the calls for the shell.
I mean, after what I've been reading lately, that would make a lot of sense.

I know right. I dont get it either. She's not ridiculously overpowered with an annoying fanbase, or useless or flat chested. There's absolutely no reason to hate her.

Well, I don't have a problem with her speed or taijutsu or ninjutsu.
Speed she has enough to blitz opponents, her taijutsu is different so that's why she doesn't need to rely on speed like others and ninjutsu, well, her techniques are ninjutsu, just based on medical ones.
I'll just get satisfied with something a little bit offensive as she can do a lot of damage (hell, that kick in Madara's Susanoo, I was like ) but the ultimate defense. Literally something that cannot kill her.
Or else, the whole slug theory + real life and from where he inspired her character would be rendered as useless.
Hmm, I have to go and see what kind of slug magic Tsunade used in the Tales of Gallant Jiraiya. If there's more to it than I already know about.
