1. Sakura interrogated the Zetsu about how he was able to get onto the compound undetected (replicate Neji's chakra signature perfectly). Together with this information and a report Yamato had compiled on Zetsu (files kept in Konohagakure), she pieced together the Zetsu's abilities.

Sakura and Shizune (mostly Sakura's elaboration/hypothesis), then perform an autopsy on the body of the clone and realized the similarity in their DNA to that of Yamato and by extension, Hashirama's. They were the first of the Shinobi Alliance to piece together the truth behind the White Zetsu Army clones and their ability to use Mokuton and Yamato's genetic link to the Zetsu's.

Sakura Is A Distinguished & Notable Medical Ninja, Only 2nd To Tsunade (Her Medical Colleagues Would Agree).

Sakura's medical ninjutsu has been acknowledged by Tsunade, Shizune, Chiyo, Sasori, Random Fodders Even Naruto.​

Why wouldn't she have helped?

• Sakura clearly has a creditable, knowledgeable and concrete generalization about Zetsu.
  
• She concluded factual information down to a cellular/genetic level, Sakura may even have retained information regarding it's anatomy.
  
• Sakura has feats in various medical practices other than the autopsy I posted above (Poison's, Mystical Palm, Surgical Procedures And CPR).

• The only argument that can be made of that Sakura hasn't shown the skill or ability required to create a prosthetic limbs but in the same notion neither has Tsunade on wax but I don't doubt that can do it (She is the worlds greatest medical ninja after all). But Sakura participating in making the prosthetic limbs logically adds to her already excellent resume as the 2nd greatest medical ninja alive.

Now what we do know is that

1. Tsunade is constructing the limbs with Hashirama's cells.
2. The Zetsu Sakura preformed the autopsy on was comprised of Hashirama's cells, which she and Shizune recognized immediately.
3. Sakura has proven to be book smart, able to retain information and to learn promptly.
4. Naruto and Sasuke aren't the first ones to have a limb or body component composed of Hashirama's cells (Example being Danzo's arm).
   
   Sakura Could Found Research On The Construction Of Danzo's Hashirama Parts.
   Just like studied Yamato's report on the Zetsu material left at the Kage summit.

Taking all that into account it can be concluded that Sakura Along with Tsunade and Shizune created the prosthetic limbs displayed by both Sasuke and Naruto in Ch 700. Sakura didn't Slack During The Time Skip And She's Most Likely Inches Away From Tsunade..

Sakura also again contributed to her teams well being, which was her goal.​

It's an objective realistic theory, since the construction of the limbs hasn't been elaborated on by Kishi.

This may or may not be true. Konoha once had a program to replicate hashirama's mokuton by transplanting his cells into children, but the project was canceled due to continuous failure. Given this happened when tsunade was in the village, it is likely that tsunade had knowledge of how to harvest and transplant hashirama cells long before sakura did the zetsu autopsy.

Why wouldn't Sakura her APPRINTINCE take part in a procedure that includes sophisticated elements that Sakura is already aware of?

Why wouldn't Tsunade teach her APPRENTICE a certain medical complex garnishment when she's taught her others?

Tsunade has already shown Sakura how to reach and Sakura has reached the PINNACLE OF CHAKRA control, this wouldn't be as hard as that.

Sorry but your wrong.. Tsunade may have knew about the research Orochimaru conducted (and her theory about how Madara lived so long) but she didn't know the complexity nor did she know what Hashi's cells were manifesting into (she said it out her own mouth). She didn't know that the Zetsu had a trace of her grandfathers DNA and the scan I posted proves that she didn't know..
