Unless she can do astral projection like Dan, there is no way she could have made it to the Summit after being in coma.

As everyone has already stated its because she was recovering from the Pain attack. They didnt think she was going to survive.

No didn't see what the were truly capable of. Tsunade probably would've taken Shizune and Kakashi or Sakura
