Mei tosses up Boil release and it's GG from there. Tsunade will constantly have Byakugo on to tank bol releease. She can't get close through the massive suiton, and if she does, mei spits acid mist on her to instantly dismember her. To make matters worse, mei can also toss up hidden mist to make it a blind battle for tsunade. I'm pretty confident in saying mei can fight through hidden mist considering she's from the hidden mist village which is frequently covered by mist. Just by being within such an area you develop ways to combat in there.

Not even katsuya will help tsunade in this one as katsuya will be overwhelmed by mei's OP water jutsu's. Any acid is stopped by a water spout, or taken up and tossed back to katsuya with dragon flood, with katsuya evidently being watched away with it.

Mei mid diff. Byakugo won't last forever with tsunade constantly draining it's chakra to heal from boil release. And, yes, boil release can be used in the open air. To make a claim thaat it can't would be like making a claim that hidden mist can't be used in open air. It's already proven to be manga fact that these techniques won't dissipate considering they're chakra manipulated.

EDIT: As to the ppeople who are trying to bring speed into this, mei doesn't need to be fast to defeat tsunade. Infact mei doesn't need to even be able to walk. To make a claim that mei loses because of mobility is not only absurd, it's completely baseless. Not every fighter needs to move to rape shit. E.G Gaara of the Sand.

This battle will be a battle of distance. If the fight is at distance mei wins. If the battle is at a close distance​

Tsunade wins. But overall mei counters every technique tsunade can throw at her. Tsunade is mostly a linear style fighter who only have a summon that can back her up in a long range battle. But mei can efficiently take her down with this.

You may say Tsunade won't let her but using hidden mist and acid mist will melt her and render her vision. Mei is from the hidden mist which haves mist most of the time so I can see her fighting in the mist without trouble

I say Mei. When I watch Tsuanade going at Marada it seems more like hoping or a big pouncing.

Lava burns mostly anything especially human body.

However the OP (Operator) of this thread never said how close they were. If they were so close Tsunade probable would pounce her. I think they are the same speed but because Tsunade is super strong and put that charka into her jumping muscles she would smash Mei with a kick or punch. (Trauma) Tsunade winning.
But if she smash me and Mei shoots lava at Tsunade head while she punches Mei drawn... But then again Tsunade can go try to wipe it off with her whole body robe real fast before the lava burns into her skull with her clothes she is wearing.

But if it is a distance Mei has this 8/10 because of the mist and some deadly long range attacks which Tsunade will have to battle to get next to her.
