Yes the most accomplisged ninja after hiruzen would not be respected in the akatsuki if she turned evil... you sir area genius.

She'd be one of the weakest, and she isn't suited for akatsuki's main goal of capturing tailed beasts, her slow punching can be avoided by any jinchuuriki. That's why she wouldn't be respected, she just doesn't fit in, so realistically all akatsuki would see her as is some spoiled princess thot to run a train on and get the occasional healing from.

A good addition? Yes. Any S-rank shinobi should be able to do at least a decent job within the organization.
A great addition? I don't think so. Her medical ninjutsu would be largely wasted on a group where most members don't regularly die or get seriously injured.
