Did itachi not amaterasu nagato INSTANTLY right when he came out from being edo controlled?
itachi will do what is neccesary on high level opponents... the fact that he's going up against 2 kages, he will do what he did nagato.. aka amaterasu
No, he didn't. There was actually significant time where he didn't use Amaterasu, more so there was much of a warning beforehand that Nagato actually felt the pressure.
I believe you are missing the point here--When in the hidden mist, doujutsu is unable to see through it. What good will Amaterasu do if he's blindly firing into the mist?
Amaterasu and tsukyomi are MUCH faster than her casting her mist
Implying they will not avoid eye contact while Mei casts the small hand signals to spread the mist. Each time Amaterasu was cast it took plenty of time, it will be far too late and never has an in-character Itachi used Amaterasu the instant the fight began.
He ends fights with genjutsu at the very beggining, as soon as the ninja look into his eyes.. Orochimaru and Deidara both fell that way
They're on a team, Orochimaru and Deidara were both alone. This means, assuming they did look into his eyes they could easily be broken out. They won't be caught in Tsukuyomi as Itachi never has or never will instantly activate his Mangekyou Sharingan as soon as the fight begins and resorts to two of his most taxing techniques, and both Orochimaru and Deidara had basic genjutsu used against them.
Wait, what happened to Amaterasu? If he doesn't use Amaterasu the
second the fight begins, Mei will use the mist! But now he's going to use genjutsu before they avoid eye-contact? I guess the battle starts staring into each other's eyes now, let's just give Itachi an auto-win on all accounts.

all the kage stared into madara's eyes but oonoki.. oonoki had to tell some of them not to do it against madara..
Not to mention i can list a shit load of s rank and kage level ninja such as Orochimaru who is supposedly the smartest of the three sannin, who also looked into his eyes
Itachi, one of the most hyped genjutsu users in the manga. Nothing was ever said about Madara's genjutsu much, or rather he hadn't even attempted it. Perhaps it's because there's an entire army on the battlefield who can easily break each other out even if he did use a genjutsu. Regardless, I didn't hear anything about looking into his eyes.
In a non-battle situation without knowledge beforehand and/or arrogance taking account, right? Please list the 'shitload' of S-rank and Kage level ninja who stared into his eyes like an idiot with beforehand knowledge that he's supposedly one of the greatest genjutsu users in the manga and that he will activate his strongest technique the second the battle starts despite every page of his showings in the manga contradicting such.
A battle where he used Tsukuyomi or Amaterasu the second the battle began without prior knowledge on the opponents, please?
