Tsunade and Dan

I remember in the manga like a long time ago, Dan appeared and before he was sealed away he turned into some apparition and took up in the sky towards Tsunade.

But, I don't really recall seeing him after that, I probably missed it.

So my question is: Did Dan ever reach Tsunade or was that skipped over for some reason? Cause I thought he said something like the Jutsu would prevent him from being sealed away for a period of time so he was using it to get to her.

If he did, please provide a scan or some sort of summary of what happened cause I thought it would be significant to Tsunade.
