I think the abilities that she may have learned from the First is his herculean strength which was merely have good chakra control and adding explosive power to her punches etc.

This is actually a good observation.

Notice how Yamato shares many of Shodaime's abilities, such as Mokuton use and Bijuu control. This is because he was a genetic copy of Shodaime, yet certain things he isn't as adept at simply because he isn't quite a true clan member.

So, with this, you could say that some are clan exclusive, yet others are Kekkei Genkai, thus discerning a difference between blood inheritance and clan inheritance. Admittedly, this is a bit of a stretch, but worth pointing out nonetheless.
