Tsukuyomi and why Tsunade can break it

Tsunade fans are turning out to be the worst fanbase here when claiming she could counter Tsukuyomi and beat Itachi. That she, as a healer, is able to heal mental wounds such as physical, isn't an argument to say that she would be able to break the technique itself. Tsukuyomi is one of the most powerful Genjutsu and is stated to be only breakable for those who are blood relatives and are using the Sharingan. In Tsukuyomi, there aren't limits in pain Itachi can cause; stabbing a Sharingan user for three days left Kakashi in a hospital for weeks with only the hope to being healed by Tsunade. To some some degree, by increasing the mental stress, Tsukuyomi could just totally destroy the opponents mentality, leaving him death. And those who are following the manga, wouldn't even forget about the fact that you cannot be freed from Tsukuyomi since this technique takes only a second counted in the reality.

Why Blaze has to write a novel again? Only because some people are too stupid to understand simply facts? Ridiculous.

Please tell me what issue and who stated that only another Sharingan user can break Tsukuyomi. I've read and watched all the mangas and anime for this and I don't remember anyone saying only a Sharingan user can break this powerful genjutsu. Hashirama isn't an Uchiha and Im sure Madara used it against him. Bet you Hashirama broke it. Dont forget. Tsunade is both of senjuu and uzimaki blood. With her Masterfull chakra manipulation and control, she is very capable of countering Tsukuyomi. The details lie in the preparation before the fight. If she knows she is facing an Uchiha with Tsukuyomi, she will com prepared ready to counter it when she is caught in it.

You're mistaken dude. You can be freed from Tsukuyomi. You forgot about Naruto. He was caught in Tsukuyomi and was freed by Sakura and Chyobasama, or did that fact just conveniently slip your mind? Plus you're assuming Tsunade would even get caught in Tsukuyomi. Kakashi created a clone and hid in the ground when he encountered Tsukuyomi the 2nd time, so why do think Tsunade wouldn't do something similar. Again you are being biased and unfair because someone (like me) happens to think Tsunade isn't worthless.

Tsukuyomi is said to be that ocular jutsu that no one but sharingan blood line users and jinchūriki's can break, I disagree with that.

Lets look at Tsukuyomi in medical terms.
Tsukuyomi affects the victim on a psycological level. It is said to be used as a method to interogation. Also it is said to break someones will power and spirit.
Medically I think Tsunade (the greatest medical ninja) can break it, Tsunade has shown the ability to heal individuals from the AFFECTS of Tsukuyomi, I know it is the after effect of Tsukuyomi but medically wise she can break it. Orochimaru went to Tsunade to heal the most complex seal in Reaper Death seal. Althought she didn't heal it, it is likely she could've since Orochimaru was 100% sure.

whether you describe the situation in medical terms or whatever that you can come up with, tsukuyomi remains a genjutsu. The will to break off genjutus has nothing to do with the capabilities of actually doing it. You either know how to release from it or not.What a genjutsu does is alter reality, it controls the chakra flow in a person's brain (this is the correct medical term by the way).

I am not aware of Tsunade owning such an awesome skill that she can just stop the chakra flow and release from genjutusu. Even if this were the case, if you stop your chakra flow your done for it, ur dead. Considering these, this topic is pretty pointless if u ask me.

THe real question would be if there is any powerful release skill which can break tsukuyomi, except the sharingan.

It's been stated that any genjutsu can be broken by disrupting the chakra in your body, or by having a teammate snap you out of it. Great chakra control is needed to break a genjutsu, who would have a better chance at breaking a genjutsu than a medical nin?

We know they have amazing chakra control, and it was even stated that Sakura has the ability to break most genjutsu because she has an aptitude for it as I believe most medical nin do. So what makes you think Tsunade couldn't do this? She's in every way better than Sakura, and she's had more experience with genjutsu than Sakura as well.

Tsukuyomi like most sharingan techniques are completely overrated, people just think that because someone get's caught in genjutsu successfully it's an auto-loss for them, but it's not always the case.

First stated plenty of times here are the only the way break genjutsu is to have good chakra control and some on the outside help as well. For that we have a perfect example naruto. Alone he has crazy chakra even if he cant control it sending it everywhere is just as good said by jiraya but still it wasn't enough. He also needed sakura and chiyo. Sakura to be trained tsunada has great control and chiyo to be able to suppress her chakra strings said by sasori is hard to do him being a puppet master. It took those 3 fact to break a genjutsu from a 33% clone.So that will be the problems for tsunade since even with good chakra control itachi seems to be able to give problems anyone with his genjutsu.


I also read that she heal tsukuyomi so she can counter it. Just cause you know how something works doesnt mean you stop it because if thats the case we would have cancer today because we know what it does and how it work but still we can beat it.

So no i dont think see can break it because for one itachi specialty is genjutsu and tsunade is healing thats 2 different battlefields

while tsukuyomi does affect people psychologically what your suggesting would require tsunade to be in control of her body during tsukuyomi which is what you can do if you have 3 tomoe sharingan and enough chakra to break yourself out, otherwise you need an outside source of chakra to interfere with the jutsu.

Tsunade probably could counteract the mental effects of tsukuyomi if she wasn't the one being controlled, however I don't know why she would bother with solving the problem medically when she could stop it on the chakra level by disrupting the genjutsu's flow of chakra interfering with another persons flow chakra.

Unless Itachi or someone else Perfected Tsukuyomi to the point in which it cannot be negated from the outside then Tsunade could do what you suggest on another person however that would also be impossible, because from the perspective of someone outside of Tsukuyomi it appears instantaneous, so Tsunade would not have enough time in her perspective from the Tsukuyomi's start to finish to do such a medical jutsu.

So any result makes any attempt for Tsunade to make such a feat either impossible or pointless.

Some of you think I said Tsunade can beat Itachi, No. Tsunade already had in preparation a healing for the effects of Tsukuyomi and if some of you had read what I said instead of raging then you would've saw that I said having the ability to do something is different from actually accomplishing it. The seconds into hours, days and maybe years in the Tsukuyomi world is critical but some of you say Itachi can do Tsukuyomi for years, you forget Itachi's chakra level and how Tsukuyomi affects him. Anyway it would seem that Tsukuyomi in the minds of some is Godly and no one is breaking it not Madara not Izuna, not Nagato or the Rinnegan, every jutsu has a weakness and to say Itachi has none with Tsukuyomi is ridiculous in itself.
