Both are characters I'm acknowledged at. Pain would win, I'm saddened to say. Deva's powers are almost invincible, and Onoki cannot counter CT nor CST; even both are restricted, I fail to see how he wins. His best offense which consumes lot of Chakra is absorbed by Preta Path, as forecast by Edo Madara, and his best defense will be wrecked by constant attacks of Asura Path. I can see him standing a chance if he splits their teamwork by Doton Clones, but that's negative on him due to dividing his Chakra, which I don't believe will allow him to utilize his full potential.

Would he not deal with Chibaku Tensei in a similar way to the meteor? Also is that the only technique that would doom him? V. interested about Onoki's underrepresented moveset.

Tengai Shensei almost killed him...You know, the second meteor hit him after he stopped the first one. I see what you mean, though. It all depends. If Nagato wishes to create CT in a form of meteor, then Onoki can stop it with Doton: Keijūgan no Jutsu; this could only happen if Onoki has constant physical contact with the meteor, which we saw with the Island Turtle. He can't do this constantly, because of the amount of Chakra consumed to manipulate the weight of such magnitude. Not to mention Nagato can create multiple of them.

If Nagato wants to drag Onoki inside CT, then I don't think he can stop it. Some will say Jinton will take out the orb before completion, but this is false. The orb is firstly attracting the surrounding at a quick rate, and the surrounding environment will shield the orb from Jinton. Besides that premise, Onoki won't be able to aim properly while being pulled by immensely powerful gravity, as we know this from Naruto's statement.

I'm well acknowledged on Onoki's arsenal. I'm the best Onoki debater you can find, and I know he isn't beating Pain.

Jiraiya, renowned as the Legendary Sannin, required strategic planning on top of guerrilla warfare to even compete with three of the Six Paths and even then, he was dumbfounded and astonished at the combination and the synergy each of the Paths provided to the extent that Jiraiya dejectedly stated that their defense was perfect. It was explicitly shown that elaborate strategies and feints was the optimal way in combating Pain's defense, none of which Onoki uses, and his hard-headed and stubborn attitude would more than likely lead to a direct confrontation which is a horrible approach in dealing with Pain's Absolute Defense.

Pain would slaughter him mostly because his own mindset and fighting style is a horrible method in confronting Pain.
