Appearance: Tsubasa and Shōhei are identical twins, born a mere five minutes apart from each other, and as such bear a near striking resemblence to each other. Both twins stand at an average height of 5'10 and have a rather pale complexion with medium-length silver hair They also wear a pristine white hakama, adorned with a blue and grey sash, and mediocre armor lining the legs, reminiscent of the samurai in the Land of Iron. Atop their clothing is another loosely fitted haori with jewellery attached. It is frequently mentioned by Shōhei that the clothing worn by the twins makes them look like a crane in battle when doused in the blood spilled from war. Needless to say, they are both regarded as beautiful young men. To most people, there is no clear-cut way of telling them apart.
In line with their ability, Tsubasa acts as the main body most of the time, with Shōhei remaining dormant inside. Occasionally Shōhei sticks his head out, but is usually hidden within Tsubasa's haori.
Personality: Despite the twins having identical features, their personalities have stark differences from each other. Shōhei is the eldest of the brothers and has a rather brash personality. He is rude and arrogant to most people around him, barely showing any respect for anyone. He can be perceived as abrasive, sarcastic and provocative to his peers. Much to his dismay, he often gets called an idiot by his brother for being rather flippant towards other people. He hates it when he doesn't get his own way, and prefers to take what he believes is his by force. Being the older brother, Shōhei also believes he gets to take command, often taking the lead in decisions, even going as far as to demand to be the dormant body of the two.
Tsubasa is the younger of the brothers, and is seen as far more reasonable and level-headed. He serves as the main body of his ability, though his brother would make it seem like it was against his own will. Tsubasa can be interpreted by others as a reassuring and stern individual who often saves face; expressionless most of the time. That is not to say he has no emotions. He has a strong sense of pride in his abilities, and to be insulted is like awakening a wild beast. Even Shōhei has commented on how scary he could be when someone angers him.
Despite the twins' differing personalities, they do share some common traits. Both uphold their idea of impeccable appearance, noted they look like a crane when scratched up and covered in blood. Though Shōhei is more likely to comment on it.

History: Akin to many others, not much is known about Shōhei and Tsubasa. All that can be remembered about the twins is they were born to an unnamed mother and father, who were both surprised to have two kids in their stride. They lived a rather peaceful life in the Land of Fire somewhere, nothing out of the ordinary. The pair weren't regarded as extraordinary shinobi, nor have they made a name for themselves.

Sōma no Kō: A unique jutsu intrinsic to the twins. No one knows the name of their kekkei genkai, however it is known not many people possess such a skill. They both have the ability to reconfigure their own bodies on a molecular level. This allows both Tsubasa and Shōhei to both merge and split with each other, amongst other unknown abilities, at will. It is also noted the twins, when merged, have an accelerated rate of healing minor injuries in a short amount of time. Also to be noted, when merged, their elemental ninjutsu become stronger than those of the average ninja, granting extra damage, as well as having access to a naturally higher chakra pool.

Description: An inheritable bloodline trait enabling twins to merge and un-merge their bodies at whim. The merging process is contingent upon one twin being active - the main body, whilst the other resides within their sibling's body in a semi-dormant state often exposing only their head. For the duration the two siblings are merged, their chakra pathway systems are entirely synchronized, and thus function as a singular entity. Notably, both the twins retain separate control of their mental faculties. In this state, the main body's chakra becomes bolstered, relative to an ordinary ninja's typical chakra, adding +10 to their elemental damage. Also, the healing rate of the dormant sibling increases and thereby enables passive regeneration of damage incurred from nonfatal physical injuries over the span of a few turns. Furthermore, they are passively able to protrude any part(s) of their body anywhere along the main body. Upon separating, the twins may act entirely independent of one another or alternatively, attack and defend in concerted effort. Central to this technique is the ability to reconfigure one's DNA to merge with another individual.

Weapons: Aside from standardised ninja tools everyone carries on their person, both Shōhei and Tsubasa carry tachi; both looking the same, known as 'Tsurumaru'. Additionally, Tsubasa personally carries a large scroll for weapon ninjutsu on his back.
