Trying to Make sense of This

I was recently scrolling through a thread about Danzo and MS Sasuke and started to wonder about the whole power relationship between MS Sasuke, Shisui and Itachi. Sasuke won the fight between Danzo and there is plenty of evidence stating that MS Sasuke was better than Danzo. And we recently just saw in the anime, Danzo ripping out Shisui's eye with ease. And let's say that battle had continued, I'm fairly certain Danzo would have bested him. It's hard to say based on that little performance however. But that's the not really the point.


The point is, who is strongest out of the three (MS Sasuke, Itachi, Shisui)? If Sasuke bested Danzo, and Danzo bested Shisui, it's reasonable to think MS Sasuke would best Shisui. But then there's the issue with Itachi. If Itachi looked up to Shisui, but would best Sasuke in combat, who can we deem the best of the three?

*I'm not really claiming one is better than there other, but clearly someone has to be. I'm wondering what you all make of this.*

Well for started the anime depiction of the fight between Shisui and Danzo is filler and should no way be treated as an actual depiction of the events.

Also keep in mind that Sasuke barely won against Danzo and that Danzo himself was already tired form using Shisui's eye.

I believe current Sasuke is the strongest, but Shisui had more potential

Shisui would give MS Sasuke a damn good run for his money and the fight would be quite intense (Assuming Shisui didn't insta-win against Sasuke with his MS genjutsu). The ONLY reason Danzo had an advantage on Shishui is because Shisui was 100% under the impression Danzo was incapacitated via Genjutsu, furthermore turned his back to him, and then got heavily cheap-shotted by Danzo's Izanagi. Anybody would get their ass handed to them (even if only momentary) under these circumstances. However, Shisui easily regained himself and his composure the very moment Danzo let go of him (if you watch the episode, you'll see how quickly Shisui entered a 'battle stance' the instant his feet touched the ground) and quickly jumped away.

As I said... Extremely unfortunate circumstances again Shisui.

Correct, BUT... I disagree with the latter part. Shisui no longer saw Danzo as an ally the very moment Danzo attempted to take his eye and got genjutsu'd.

Shisui needs 10 years to charge KA so
1. He tends to preserve it like he did with Danzo
2. At that point he has the potential to solo almost anyone.

As long as Shisui can't readily use KA

Indeed, I see what you mean. But who would expect a forbidden Uchiha technique from an outsider? A mediocre Genjutsu in the eyes of a master Genjutsu user like Shisui why use a forbidden technique like Izanagi? He didn't see that coming which was according to plot of course but it couldn't be helped. Then he gets ragged on for retreating but would you face a village elder with one eye and a force of anbu behind him? No.

Exactly. And that is why in my previous post I stated that Shisui had extreme circumstances against him. Otherwise, Shisui would have walked all over Danzo and never would had lost his eye. Shisui got thrown into a no-win situation the very moment he got taken by surprise by Danzo's Izanagi.
