This is just a speculation I was making about the source of the Sage of the Six Paths power. It is subjugated to being change, if I notice something wrong with the information presented in it. It was made as a thread to clear up how the Sage’s powers work, a presumable misconception of that thought to work. Anyways onto the thread.
Having experimented with the different attributes of nature transformations, he stumbled across Ying and Yang charkas. These charkas allow one to use techniques based on spiritual from and give them a physical appearance / effect.
With that said the Paths Tobi were talking about, and the Paths that the Sage used were one in the same. I believe the Paths are as followed.
Rinnegan: To be able to master all nature transformations type, which all the basis for ninjutsu; and quite possibly the truth the Sage saw behind charka.
Senju DNA: More-over because of the strong Yang-Release charka that was given to them because of their ancestor, The Younger Son. The Senju had an overwhelming amount of physical energy. Not just any Senju, but specifically Hashirama’s. He may have had a unique blood-line limit that not even his brother picked up.
Uchiha: The Uchiha were granted the spiritual charka of their ancestor, The Elder Son. It holds a very powerful amount of Yin Release charka. Like the Senju, only certain members of the clan, would reach the pinnacle of obtaining that very potentness of the Yin – Release, which required them gaining the Sharingan, EMS, and the Rinnegan.
That’s already three paths that Tobi was referring to when he took Nagato’s Rinnegan.
Juubi: I will speculate and put this down, simply because of the immense God-like charka it had. (It may have come from another dimension as well)

I have reasoned that the other two paths, may be either those treasures; which I highly doubt or a character from a clan that Masashi has not shown yet.
