Truth-Seeking Balls are spheres of malleable black chakra. Originating from the power of the Sage of the Six Paths, they are composed of all five elemental nature transformations, Yin-Yang Release, and Six Paths Sage Chakra (六道の仙人チャクラ, Rikudō no Sennin Chakura). They are capable of negating all forms of ninjutsu.

The Yata Mirror was an ethereal shield wielded by the left arm of Itachi's Susanoo. It is said to be endowed with all nature transformations and able to change its characteristics to any nature transformation to completely negate any attack, whether it be spiritual, or physical.

Judging by both of their descriptions, the Truth-Seeking Ball has an advantage because not only does the Yata Mirror not have Yin Release, Yang Release, or Yin-Yang Release, but the Truth-Seeking Ball has natural energy also known as the Six Paths Sage Chakra empowered within it. Yata Mirror cannot counter Yin-Yang Release, so yeah. .-.

TSB are made of ALL ELEMENTS and have onmyoudon that CANCELS ALL JUTSU that don't have senjutsu.

Lol Itachi can't use senjutsu, no further explanation. It adapts to any element or attack but NOT senjutsu. If Itachi has senjutsu then yes, but he doesn't so no. :l
