The first one that comes to my mind is with my dog.

The night he died I didn't stay with him until he gave his last breath because I didn't think he would move on - that night.

In the morning I asked my relatives what happened and they said he passed on - looking at the door we usually go out to him.

I felt destroyed because I understood that he was scared and also knew what's coming and wanted someone to be with him on his last day. He kept waiting for someone to show up that door.

I couldn't tell anyone because I was ashamed on myself... I guess I said it now...
