Sasuke got saved and empowered loads of times we already know this, Sasuke wouldn't be anywhere if it wasn't for Orochimaru training him, then Itachi losing to him on purpose, unlocking Sasukes Mangekyou Sharingan, that Cursed Seal guy saving Sasukes life after Killer Bee semi-killed sasuke, then Madara throwing him at the lions to fight the kage's and develope his MS powers and then Madara Saving him and giving Itachi's eyes to him so he gets EMS.

The only fight where Sasuke actually won because of his own power was vs Danzo, which was one of the best fights I have ever seen in Naruto.

Most of the original characters have been saved at least once. Naruto, Neji, Choji, Hinata, Lee, Shikamaru, Kiba and even Kakashi.
