Indra = King of Gods and a Lord
Master of Lightning
Had many things that served him and called him lord


Ashura = Considered weakest reincarnation of Demi God (Not a God)
Served a lesser creature called Sakra (Sakura)
Known for multiples arms and clones

Seems like a decent point to make. However, this manga since the start has been about overcoming ones weaknesses and creating peace with as little death as possible as far as Naruto's whole character make up is concerned... and many plot points.

So while this holds relevance in mythology out in the real world and most of the story for inspiration, it doesn't always hold true facts to go by in the manga!
