『歴史 History』 Trunks was born to the scientist Bulma Brief. He's never met his father, but his mother described him as a prideful arrogant man with little man syndrome, spiky black hair, and a receding hairline. His region was terrorized by two powerful cyborgs who killed many of his friends and family.
Trunks would much of his childhood and teen years training with his sensei who also acted as an older brother figure. Towards the end of their training, Trunks was learning the Lightning Armor technique which they dubbed Super Sayain. At the age of 14 at the time, inn an amusement park named
Some years later, the pair are drawn into battle against the Androids again, so his sensei knocked Trunks unconscious knowing that if he faces them again, he will be killed. His sensei holds his own against the Cyborgs, being stronger than each individually, but unable to compete with both of them and their vast energy reserves. His sensei is defeated and killed, leaving Trunks to find his body lying in the rain. Overcome with anger and grief, Trunks finally transforms into a Super Saiyan and spends the next few years training to avenge his fallen allies, though he still struggles to defeat them.
